Thread: My thoughts & ideas on Conscripts24 Aug 2014, 17:21 PM As stated before on many occasions Conscripts are not supposed to scale well late game without doctrinal upgrade due to faction design. Imagine what would happened if Conscripts were as good late game as LMG Grens or Rifles and on top of that you had access to elite infantry like Shocks or Guards as well. I'm pretty sure anyone can see how broken that would be. See at the bigger picture Gentlemen. In: COH2 Balance

Try to rise your in game "skill" by playing more demanding modes and see for yourself or, even better idea, try to mimic the strat and play with Shocks as Soviet from time to time to learn how to deal with them. Thread: Shocks19 Aug 2014, 22:54 PM @OP Shocks are fine. If your opponent goes heavy on them - it's good for you as your tanks won't have to watch out for AT grenades as much. Get some crowd control and you're good to go. When you see Shocks coming at you just walk a way. Keep the distance. In: COH2 Balance

The way to fix it, is bring back the way tanks worked in coh 1. For example, the sherman or cromwell would consistently kill 1 guy per shot, it rarely missed, and it rarely killed more than 1. Or something like that, if you remember in coh 1, the sherman practically never missed and killed 1 guy per shot. Consistently. That's what id like to see in coh 2. Consistensy.
