Thread: New faction British??14 Feb 2015, 15:44 PM I could imagine something like sub-factions similar to the exchange units in ToV you could exchange several units in a faction. For example British faction is a sub faction of USF and replaces the m36 with the sherman firefly, stuart and staghound.. and so on. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: (2-4) Avenue 12 - Extrem Urban Warfare :P (WIP)10 Feb 2015, 22:03 PM High Quality exlusive urban maps are rare (talking about mostly undamaged cities, not ruins ), so i decided to make one on my own. The map focuses on extrem urban warfare which means: deadly roads, chokepoints and close quarter combat, yet the it doesn't neglect to offer long range and open areas as well as opportunities to flank. Thread: M2HB .50 Cal Machine Gun9 Feb 2015, 17:17 PM Regardin' The dps and suppression output the .50cal provides probably the best mix of the HMG42 and the Maxim, however it suffers from low survivability, so make sure to always support it. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: USF & Ost, early game balance4 Feb 2015, 19:19 PM Jump back to quoted post4 Feb 2015, 13:08 PMAustralian Magic Ost tech does not need to be cheaper. I mean, just switch tech cost with building cost. I think fuel costs are okay, but Ostheer pays 300 manpower to get access to t2 units. Usf pays 200 mp to get t2 or t3 units + gets a squad worth more than the teching manpower costs. I think this is the source of early game imbalance, which allows to outnumber the wehrmacht early. One could now argue that Ostheer gets access to grenades and lmgs by teching to t2 while usf has to tech each (Bars, zooks, nades) for extra costs, but this is totally optional and doctrinal weapon upgrades give the possibility to partially or totally ignore those upgrades, while t2 is a crucial tier for ostheer and can't just be delayed or skipped , since it's the only reliable early available source against american early vehicle strats. Thread: (2) Chateau2 Feb 2015, 16:22 PM Thank you very much for your feedback. It is now not longer possible to cap inside the small house. The two cutoffs near the mansion have some deadspots which should prevent any HMG inside the house to lock them down. Nevertheless the centre (especially the chateau) is meant to be an important position, so it's dominance over the area is intentional, even though not 100% balanced, if you want a total symmetrical map. Sturmtiger grenade abilty moved to vet 5. SturmTiger vet 5 inreased to "you will never see that shi... ever" from "you will probably never see that shi" Sturmtiger crew now needs to exit the vehicle to use the grenade ability. Sturmtiger range reduced to 30. Sturmtiger must purchase tracks before moving. Haha hilarious! Sturmtiger Vet1: Sturmtiger can now utilize its maingun. In: COH2 Balance
