Thread: Axis Comebacks2 Nov 2014, 00:12 AM Jump back to quoted post1 Nov 2014, 17:16 PMNinjaWJ I would like power curve smoothed out a bit for all factions. ALlies shouldn't have the better early game (although i am not sure if this is even true..) Allies most certainly do not have a superior early game. Sturmpios and MG42s see to that. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Kappatch - A minor rebalance mod1 Nov 2014, 08:38 AM Jump back to quoted post1 Nov 2014, 06:09 AMLucas Troy Weird idea that probably isn't very good time: Abandoned vehicles are cool because of the opportunities they create, but the mechanic is annoying because it can have a huge impact on the game (get a Tiger, for instance) and it's very random. What if all vehicles, rather than being destroyed, got abandoned first? That way abandonment is still in the game, but in a consistent way that you can plan for. Of course, you can still always just destroy them right after with attack ground. To balance this out, maybe abandoned vehicles should have heavy engine damage and destroyed gun? That way capturing them requires lots of effort. Very neat idea, I like it alot (though I'll hold judgement until I've played with it...) In: Lobby
Thread: tiger aces1 Nov 2014, 08:33 AM Agreed, something needs to be done about it. Though it should never have appeared in the game in the first place... In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Axis Comebacks1 Nov 2014, 00:19 AM Jump back to quoted post31 Oct 2014, 22:43 PMNinjaWJ I would love to see numbers on the win rates between Soviets and OStheer 4v4 before WFA was released. It seems that it could be fairly balanced. However, OKW really ruins team games From memory it leaned 55-60% in favour of Ostheer... All that Ost heavy armour once again... Note to Relic, can we have a crap German faction? One which is helpless against Allies for once? Or else a blatantly OP Allied faction? It feels like the German fanboism is strong in Relic... judging by many balance decisions... :/ In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Kappatch - A minor rebalance mod31 Oct 2014, 13:50 PM after a couple of games with the Amis today... I'm glad for the Bazooka buff. They sure need them... In: Lobby
Thread: Axis Comebacks31 Oct 2014, 13:45 PM Indeed, my worst nightmare if I'm allied is in a close game a KT or Tiger just parking on the objective and not going anywhere. You have to attack it, all its support will be there and you need some seriously heavy stuff to shift it, which you often won't have... In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Axis Comebacks31 Oct 2014, 13:38 PM ^^ A lot of those heavy German tanks (KT and JT) are, when parked on an objective, literally impossible to shift. Especially with the power tanks have vs infantry and the overabundance of German AI infantry... (Obers particularly) In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Rate the balance of the game after the latest patch (1-10)31 Oct 2014, 12:07 PM Jump back to quoted post31 Oct 2014, 12:03 PMJohnnyB Ostheer's PAK 40 is now pretty bad... Welcome to the world of Allied AT. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Obersoldaten and stuff31 Oct 2014, 12:05 PM Not always, Elite troops most notably, other stuff such as Salvage doctrine, Rifle company and the B4 commander have exclusive stuff which you simply can't use unless you buy them. I've been playing since a week after WFA came out and still haven't got a commander drop (or one I don't already own...) In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Rate the balance of the game after the latest patch (1-10)31 Oct 2014, 11:56 AM Jump back to quoted post31 Oct 2014, 11:53 AMVitor http://www.coh2.org/ladders/playercard/viewBoard/0/steamid/76561198044283346 Sure you did. The bias revealed. lol, that player card is worse than mine, and I admit that I'm biased! In: COH2 Balance
