Thread: Well done Relic - Remembrance day faceplate13 Nov 2014, 21:47 PM best face plate yet. In: Lobby
Thread: ISU is simply gardened up6 Nov 2014, 08:59 AM Yep, as soon as I see an ISU on screen (either mine or my opponents) my heart sinks because I know the game just turned boring. In: Replays
Thread: Relic, get your act together.4 Nov 2014, 18:16 PM I'm surprised these horrid things haven't been more common with the terrible design choice of using trucks. In: Replays
Thread: tiger aces3 Nov 2014, 19:37 PM Jump back to quoted post3 Nov 2014, 11:22 AMdrChengele Nailed it. Heavy tanks should be a rare thing. Currently they are almost seen more often than mediums. In the current meta this may be fine, let's say for the sake of argument they are even perfectly balanced. Even so, from an authenticity standpoint (note I am not saying "realism"), as a casual-level ww2 buff, I have a nagging subjective feeling the heavies should be less frequently seen. From a "feel" perspective, pouring so much firepower, armour and popcap into a single unit is sort of detrimental to everything CoH stands for. It shifts warfare from wars of maneuver, infantry wars and flanking to single-point boss unit siege breakthroughs. Sure, who DOESN'T like to control the iconic lumbering behemoths of WW2? But having multiple of them in every game really decreases that uniqueness factor. It makes something that should be rare and awesome into something mundane. +1 In: COH2 Balance
Thread: tiger aces1 Nov 2014, 10:09 AM I'd say all heavies ruin the game, once they start appearing on the field the game becomes incredibly boring. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: What the garden is this chat moderation bullpudding?24 Oct 2014, 07:34 AM Relic enforcement will benefit from not having waste time shifting through chat logs of reported players who just vomit verbal abuse during games. Maybe they can focus more on catching cheaters now. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Off to Japan Tomorrow.28 Sep 2014, 00:38 AM Best of luck in Japan. It may seem overwhelming at first and you may feel like heading home, but give it time. In: Lobby
Thread: loadouts getting deleted25 Sep 2014, 07:13 AM This was an issue in the WFA alpha, I've not experienced since release. In: COH2 Bugs
Thread: Post Your Bandwidth15 Sep 2014, 11:46 AM Jump back to quoted post15 Sep 2014, 10:29 AMMarcus2389 Your city? I don't think we would see anything like that in the whole Italy for about 20 years.. Get out of the 90's! I could go for a gig line but I just don't see the need for anything more than 100/100. In: Hardware and Tech
Thread: Are you taking a break from the CoH2 title?15 Sep 2014, 11:39 AM I was playing a lot right before the release of the WFA, that was the best period of COH2 I have experienced. But now I rarely play, ever since the alpha of WFA I made it clear how much I disliked the OKW truck system and even tho it was improved from its original design (which was beyond bad) I still find it deeply unpleasant to play against/with/as. It felt that they had finally balanced the game extremely well just before the WFA release and then threw it all away. In my ideal world I would have scrapped the OKW and just added the Americans and allowing them to fight the Soviets. I'm sad that this is how my COH2 journey has ended up. In: COH2 Gameplay
