Thread: Two new free Commanders today! 24 Apr 2014, 16:41 PM So I tried out the soviet one: Supply drops come from enemies base, using it while they have AA is a bad idea. Shermans seem to hit as hard as a 76 but has a faster rate of fire. It's role is bit like a T34/85 with less pen and more DPS. Guards in the halftrack dont have PTRS. I think I counted 3 Phsh and the rest have rifles. A good anti infantry light vehicle calll in and the two units work well when seperated so you can always throw on an upgrade on the M5. Overall it a good vehicle based doctrine, good with T4 strategys. I give it a 9/10. In: COH2 Gameplay

The mobile defense doctrine seems to be well balanced though, I just hope the puma acts like a strong glass cannon like it did in WWII. They come with an M5 though. It's the perfect doctrine for going T4. In: COH2 Gameplay

Retarded!Why not KV-85, ISU-122 or SU-100? So USA and Soviets will both have shermans that sucks Because it's easier to make a sherman from the ones they are using in the expansion. Less work and cheaper to make. Lets not forget that it might also help them find the balance they would need for when the americans come out. A bit of early balance testing. In: COH2 Gameplay

If soviet core units really do hold up in the late game then you won't need to have late game call-ins to stay relevant.
