Well, first question is Headset or Headphones + seperate Microphone?

Headphones usually offer better sound quality than headsets for the same price. That said, I use the beyerdynamic MMX 2 headset which should be at the low end of your budget. The microphone on it is relatively good for the price and overall sound quality is sufficient. For me it is comfortable, not too heavy, and build quality seems better than on many other headsets in this price category.

For headphones some of the recommendations from kamk for example should be quite good, they may be over your budget already though and you might want to try them out before you buy them if you can though because it is partially about personal preference what you prefer. Regarding seperate microphones I cannot really give you a recommendation because of lack of knowledge.

With it you get a microphone that can be attached to your headphones. It is a bit pricy, but can be still worth it, since an equivalent headset could cost even more.

Volks spam and shreck blob should be discouraged, yet all I can see in this thread are racing ideas on how to make volkspam even more powerful and independent of other units.

Some people should get a reality grip.

I'll just throw it here:

Volks now cost 280mp-300, no stat buffs.
Then you can have multiple equipment packages.

There, volkspam fixed.

Blobbing and spamming discouraged.
Combined arms encouraged.
You have your flexible volks you strive for so much.

You will fix Volksgrenadier spam, but it will not be balanced that way.

I am going to listen to Relics numbers (I thought there are supposed to come soon on the blog, but I guess it will still take some time), otherwise I don't care. Even with Relic there would be a possibility that there is a mistake, but I guess it is acceptable. With numbers from random people you never know if they are not just completely made up.

The numbers in the reddit post seemed very extreme so I was skeptical about it. It is also not 100% clear how the replays have been exactly chosen, "random" can mean anything.

I don't have a set one right now for other factions but for OKW I use Luftwaffe, Breakthrough and Scavenge Doctrine, with Scavenge the most likely to get dropped right now.
