Thread: The Host of this Party has Timed Out1 Feb 2016, 23:12 PM No anti-virus or firewall here, did a fresh reinstall about 30 minutes ago too. I tried to search for others who've had this problem but I can't seem to find any. It should be worth noting that up until a couple of days ago I could connect to the automatch/relic servers after restarting my steam a few times, now I can't connect and just get the error 'The Host of this Party has Timed Out' In: COH2 Bugs

Thread: Fixing Volks - MP40s for shrecks29 Jan 2016, 09:44 AM I've said it before and I'll say it again. I really do feel as if there is an infantry unit missing from OKW. A T2 unit that is not dependent on doctrine that can be upgraded with AT. As it stands the only infantry that you see on the battlefield that is capable of carrying AT weapons is Volksgrenadiers, as a result they are used from start to finish. A type of grenadier unit would bridge the gap perfectly, coming out from the healing truck with the ability to upgrade a panzershreck. Even a dedicated anti-tank squad would suffice. I don't know why Relic hasn't done this with OKW maybe it is because they want every axis faction to be extremely different in almost every way. In: COH2 Balance

Light vehicle play is what let Sov/Brit/USF break Ostheer defense, if you add a light tank to Ostheer, what will be the solution? The whole point is that light vehicles BREAK the defense way too easily, either in terms of map control or loss of units. A good player won't get in faust range. And again, to field all 4 of your T2 options costs a large amount of manpower. In: COH2 Balance

Spend 320 mp on pure AT to zone out the light vehicle (good player won't lose the 320/400 hp vehicle to your pak) 320 mp spend on pak = enemy inf beating your inf (with light vehicle harrassing the edge's). You lose most of the map. That's ostheer between minute 5-6 en 15 in every match. Pretty much. You need to position your PaK to a T to be able to fend off an AEC/Stuart anyway. Even if you went 222 instead of a PaK you'd have a hard time because it delays your AT capabilities early on in the game. So you're constantly trying to back peddle your 222 to try and fight a rear echelon squad because against a Captain or Riflemen the 222 will take heavy damage. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Ostheer is on life support28 Jan 2016, 09:01 AM I'm pretty sure variants of the 222 had larger caliber guns mounted on them, 37mm maybe? That could bridge some sort of gap. Alternatively you could provide the 251 with an option to upgrade to a 37mm/pak40 mobile anti infantry/light AT. Although in my opinion Relic aren't going to release any new units soon, and I'm pretty sure they said no MAJOR balance changes were incoming. In: COH2 Balance
