Oooooh. So you get it from CoH2.org
I wonder if it is because you already have Hitbox attached to your profile?

mixed axis winning on rails and metal is not very surprising. Doesn't prevent it from being a good game... In: Replays |

I am able to go to http://www.twitch.tv/mithiriath. Are you unable to load the page? Or when you try and boot up your stream you get the error? In: Site Feedback |

Your twitch stream probably has a different broadcast ID than hitbox. If you're talking about your "stream key" thing that you have to enter into OBS or whatever streaming program you're using? Also check server configuration and make sure you're pointing to Twitch. Maybe screenshot your settings so we can help you out more? In: Site Feedback |

It's really not that complicated... If the AVERAGE number of players concurrently online the past month is ~4,200, then the community as a whole is clearly way larger than 4-5000 people (as you claim). In fact the peak number of players over the past month is about double what you claim the entire community is... wuFF's guess towards the size of the active community is probably pretty accurate. The numbers aren't impressive if compared to the mega titles like LoL, DoTA, HS, CS:GO but as others have pointed out - the golden age of the RTS is over (unfortunately). Even SC2 is struggling to keep pace with MOBAs today, which attract a similar player-base as RTS. Personally, (as a former DoTA 1 semi-pro back in the day) I don't understand all the MOBA hype, but clearly people love watching/playing them (and who am I to judge what other people enjoy) - and they're obviously pushing the limits with competitive gaming which is really cool to see in action. There are so many factors as to why the "old guard" doesn't player CoH 2 that is it naive to make claims along the lines of "COH 2 obviously sux b/c vcoh players don't like it." There are countless other competitive titles to spend your time on if your only goal is to become a pro gamer. The guys that played vCoH at the top levels are all like 10 years older now. A lot of them simply don't enjoy the way COH 2 is played (doesn't mean either is better/worse, they're just different). Some of them can't handle being terribad at CoH 2 so they make up excuses for not liking the game... Still, no one has been able to answer the question... if all these people are constantly talking about how good vCoH is/was, and they all say they want to play it then why is no one playing it? Just makes no sense to come on the forums and cry about a game that you don't even play, rather than play the game you are constantly trying to tell everyone is better than the game they're playing... Yeah. That logic tho... >_< In: COH Central |

What do u expect of a British noob. Nothing more to say If you actually think that grenades do random damage or that Grens/Cons can "crit" a unit... You're ignorant beyond salvation about CoH 2's mechanics. Sorry. In: COH Central |

we should close the thread. CoH2 Fanboys will never see the truth and Coh1 Fanboys will die. If all of you guys love vCoH so much, and all of you want to play it... why not play it... literally no one is stopping you. When SSBB came out and part of the smash community liked it, the other part hated it - what did people do? *gasp* the people that played SSBM played SSBM, the people that played SSBB played SSBB. Now they're both highly competitive fighters. When SC 2 came out what did people that loved SC:BW do? They played SC:BW... When CSS came out the people that hated it played CS 1.6... Examples all over the place. So much talk and so much of people doing nothing for the vCoH community except whining about how bad CoH 2 is. Makes no sense. Go do something for the community you claim to care about so much and the game you claim to love so much instead of shitposting about a game you don't even play. In: COH Central |

Seems legit. But I doubt it has to do with your actual place in the queue/whether or not you'll get in. Plus they've already said the date where they'll send out the real invites - and inviting people solely based on who signed up first is a silly system. The thing is, in the case of SC2 and Dota 2, those communities never shrunk. The rate at which they grew is of course going to be related in some way to the rate at which the games themselves grew, but the competitive communities never shrank. CSGO's community, on the other hand, was tiny until Valve took it over and finally fixed some of its major design problems. Sc2 and sc:bw only shared a handful of top level players and their respective communities were much like coh1 and coh2's for a long long time, probably still are but I don't keep up with it. Of course dota and dota2 kept the same players, dota2 is 99% a copy/paste of dota1. Coh2 shares very little other than genre with CoH1 theyre totally different games. Plus the majority of top vCoH players are much older now with a lot more going on in life, it's just natural that they wouldn't play as much or as competitively. I see the discussion a lot about "coh2 just doesn't make me want to spam games as much as I used to" and I'd say that applies to basically any game. I used to be able to play stuff for like 10 or 12 hours a day back in high school and college. I can't do that today even when I'm in love with a game, after a few hours I'm ready for a break no matter how much fun I'm having... It's just life. Anyways typing on a phone is hard... Hopefully this all made enough sense. I can fix it when I get home if I need to. In: COH Central |
