No Axis MG can actually cover it's cone of fire, whereas the maxim's cone is a more accurate representation of what ALL the mg's actually do ingame. For the most part, only the dotted line with the arrow matters. Did you know that you can manually target squads with MGs when they are set-up? Honest question. Also take a look at the veterancy for MGs: Vet 2 +20% Suppression +30% Horizontal Traverse Vet 3 +20% ROF +30% Accuracy +10% Horizontal Traverse all dat horizontal traverse. It makes sense at first, but to use it effectively you have to preemptively use it a few seconds before the enemy begins its advance, else you waste munis and watch the timer tick down. That is why you suppress first then activate Incendiary Rounds. The ability is fantastic (and there is a 10% faster reload bulletin) In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: MG's in houses suck24 Aug 2014, 06:58 AM MG's are intentionally bad in garrisons. this is a design choice by Relic and I think it's a good one. If you want to garrison use LMGs as they have very short set up time and great DPS. The 10% faster reload bulletin affects MG window refacing time. Of course this isn't referenced anywhere in game by Relic because they insist on being enigmatic about how their game actually fucking works. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Veterancy for units performing non-combat actions22 Aug 2014, 08:23 AM I would like to see builder units gaining a small amount of exp for building mines, barbed wire, base buildings, bunkers, howitzers, pak43's... etc maybe from repairing vehicles too since the Soviet and Ostheer builders tend to struggle to get to veterancy 2 for improved repair speed. OKW units gain some veterancy from scavenging vehicles. I would also like to see the USF Captain gain a bit of veterancy from each unit that it "Supervises" on to the battlefield and general see more rewards for units fulfilling multiple roles on the battlefield beyond giving and receiving damage. What do you guys think? In: COH2 Gameplay
