If you're interested in mid-level games here's one that I believe shows how effective mortars, katushyas and Zis barrage can be when you get vision with other units and keep them very close to the front line. I also steal a Pak with Guards for their extra survivability and it pays off.
I normally go tier three for reinforcement from the M5 with this much infantry but Minsk calls for assault guns IMO. I prefer Guards to Shocks due to their easier reinforcing cost, range and the amazing button ability.
One funny moment is my guards friendly firing my SU-85 and killing it while shooting at a Pioneer squad.
