If the enemy was able to drive you back with the rest of their army it won't make a difference but if you're still there, it'll leave a Chance for a flamer or Pgren to finish it off without having to insta retreat or get wiped. Best way to boost its efficiency would be some stats adjustment like better RoF, squad size is just too much. Grens don't need 5th man for more dmg, they need it to more easily recrew support weapons and have more survivability against explosives. Stats can easily be adjusted. In: COH2 Gameplay
