Thread: Awesome Game vs. SturmTiger BkModTest. 20 Aug 2013, 12:54 PM Very nice game! I tried to flank and make use of the hit the dirt as much as I could and in combination with constant harassment, howitzer, mines and t-34s I am quiet happy with my play. But BkMod played excellent as well! And I used only one sniper team that didn't lived that long and NO SU85s! So no complaining about this combination being op, you can win as russians even against a pak 43 emplacement without that strat. Although I used the guard rifle combined arms like everyone else, too. Thread: SU sniperspam to prove they are OP but I still won17 Aug 2013, 12:31 PM I don't think Sniper + Su-85 isn't beatable, it's just that it REQUIRES LUCK to beat (lucky mortar or arty hit on snipers, lucky in that German doesn't pick a non-elephant doctrine beforehand to counter SU-85). IF German SNipers could effectively counter snipe a lot of this OP Synergy would be broken. then I had luck And yeah, a decent countersnipe for the germans yould be nice and like in COH1. that would sort that out I guess... p4 is useless , very hard to flank the su85, better get an ostwind and kill the infatry and make nebels against sniper spam. Sniper spam is OP when enemy use it from the beginning and need time to bring counter. If he use it from the beginning better make 2-3 grens and 1 mg put them near halftrack and push back + mortal. Then go t4 for nebels and elefant if you want but that is not necessary because su85 wont hurt your infatry . You must have high ground against snipers. Now I wait until I have 2 P4s or P4 with a Stug and then try to flank the SU85 but yeah depends a lot on the terrain and is very risky. And T4 is a good idea yeah! The Panzerwerfer may be a good counter for Snipers In: Replays

And still I don't really think the SU sniper team is extremely op, maybe it needs a little bit of nerfing true: @SageOfTheSix: I havent looked at our stats, I just saw the levels with me being around 70 and him around 90. But true if very good players would do this SU85 and SU sniper thing its kinda op. But the SU85 is a whole other thing where I think thats a unit thats op, way more than the sniper. And btw: I never use more than 2 snipers in a game because I want an interesting game and I hate it when people just try to spam snipers so I don't do it for myself even if it may be op. Later he said that he wanted to prove that SU snipers are op. But I tried hard and was rewarded with a win over his 5 sniper teams. So even when spammed, you can counter them, here's the prove.
