Hmmm perhaps I'm wrongly remembering how slow it fires on regular fire mode.
With the spread ... that only applies when a shot is calculated as a miss normally right? So when using the ability to target an area (as I believe you have to?)it translates to a lot greater variation in shots than usual.
Whoops, sorry about naming issue. Ok, so it fires slightly faster? Thanks. I'm putting this in the never use category for me given the cost, scatter, and what appeared to be very small fire rate increase.
Can someone tell me what the ability does and its potential uses?
The description claims it fires three accurate rounds. I've used it and it seemed to fire three rounds at the same speed as a regular shot (so, quite slowly) and they still scattered fairly widely from the point I selected.
It also costs munitions. What is the advantage in using this ability over attack ground?
I think its important to have a consistency as opposed to something like the 80% idea proposed. You already have penetration vs higher vehicles to make it random.
With the current system it makes it very easy to interpret the battlefield - does this unit have the ability to use an at weapon? Yes/No - Then I need to stay X distance away to avoid a hit.
They cost munis, and without them M3A1, Jeeps, and Scout Cars would dominate the early game.
Bazookas are really only for countering light armour - Scout Car, Puma, Kubel, etc. If you are facing medium or heavy armour it's better to get AT guns and tanks.
