There's also a trick with the 222's mg42 you can use: keep enemy on the left side of the turret where the mg42 is offset. In: COH2 Gameplay

As such vg's need to be as strong as rifles or even stronger. 2. i do not use the puma or m10 as AI anyway. the Okw doesn't just have stronger front-line unit, they have the best frontline unit. Panther, jpz4, king tiger, and ober are some of the most amazing frontline unit in the game, and okw is no longer crippled by a lowered income. Even factoring in the cost price, it's still a net price decrease for those units. the days of volks spam is over. Okw need to start using something else. jpz4, luch, stuka, puma, and AAHT still have their old fuel cost from when the OKW's income was crippled and are now effectively cheaper. (AAHT needs a buff, but the other units are great) OKW should be an aggressive faction that favor strong frontline unit at the expense of their support unit. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Brits OP as F-?13 Jun 2016, 18:53 PM Jump back to quoted post13 Jun 2016, 11:58 AMBanillo - the land matress is cheaper comes sooner needs no tech, fires waaay more rockets, has close to same range and all this make it better. the mattres will make more damage in barrgae then pwerfer in 2 -the jp4 like any other medium tank will get killed by one firefly shot followed by tulips. the result is a dead jp4 in 2 sec. -im sure that all of us would rather have the comet over the panther (tank commnder buffs, war speed, white phosphorus rounds with insane range, cooldown and price, nade abillity VS mg upgrade and blitz) the only tanks with similar role and function better than the comet are the kt and the tiger (more or less) and the command panther witch cost a lot more. the mod already nerfed the land mattress by decreasing its damage and delaying its arrival time the mod also decreased the damage done by tulip. the tulip was also an expensive ability that cannot be spam. OHK ability is inherently broken, but too many people are treating the firely is merely the tulip launcher. the panther are anti-tank specalist, and the comet is a generalist. the panther's only failing is that it's overkill. The jpz4 and stug do a far more efficient job of dealing with allied tank. There isn't really any allied tank that the stug can't handle. In: COH2 Balance

They have really more than any other faction in stock and those units are better in qualities, than some doctrinal units of other factions! Infantry of UKF is good, Tanks - enourmously good, non-doc deffensive emplacements, non-doc FHQs, non-doc artillery (it sux, but still), snipers, mines, combat reliable engineers... So much of everything, it gives them so many different playstyles at once, which you also can easy combine. And again - without any doctrines at all. I think, that UKF should be seriously redesigned. UKFs faction design today is ridiculosly stupid. saying the brits have everything is a gross simplistic view of the faction. without their cancer emplacment, the brit is not going to have the simple amount of firepower the Ost possess. even in vanilla, the panzerwerfer have a more devastating barrage than the land mattress. Ost is the glass cannon faction in coh2. okw units selection are more "elite". Their panther can kill both infantry and tank, and the King Tiger need no explanation. The jpz4 itself is a counter to any TD used by the allied faction. The brits is the first allied faction to actually get decent tank in their doctrine, but as good as the comet is, it lack the raw strength of the axis armor. In: COH2 Balance

Bofors and mortar pit provides such a massive amount of map control for their cost, which really gives a big advantage on small maps. If they are not capable of holding their own against rifles/is/penals you have units that are death weight mid game. best solution is to improve their veterancy (which at the moment is just very weak compared to to the other mainline infantry) and increase the volks mp44's to 3 with a 90 ammo cost. Also the OKW vehicles are just shit. the puma ? overpriced piece of shit compared to the aec or m10. and dont even get em started on the okw flaktrack that is not capable of moving has less damage then the usf track and cost slightly more. And you know that just as well as i do. the penal and rifle are both more expensive and cost more population than the volks. Those two allied troops should be superior. and the m10 is only superior in vanilla due to crush. Without that crush ability the puma is actually better against infantry than the m10. Because ost doesnt get anything out of teching (except riflenade) while others get free squads or field trucks etc which dramatically increases the tech efficiency. ost get riflenade and lmg42 from teching. Ost also get two of the cheapest and most cost effective vehicle killer in the entire game, the 222 and the stug. it's nuts how cost effective both of those units are. ostheer is a faction of specialized glass cannon. It demand the use of combined arms from its player but have the best combined arm potential as well. In: COH2 Balance
