At least conscript lack weapon upgrade to justify their terminator vet, but the USF rifleman with lmg is going to take your grenadier apart in late game.
Although most of my wehr game usually end with the allies' choice of light vehicle up my rear.
As great as the pak40 is at busting tanks it's really clumsy against light vehicle. You're completely on the defensive at around t2 as soon as the stuart/t70 hit the field. The 4 men size of the wher also make them extermely vulnerable to light tanks.
Give 2 to obers for the same price as Panzergrens. either obers upgrade to MG or Schrecks, but give health penalty to schreck carrying squads.
how about this:
give ober the same 2x schreck as the panzergrenadier and move it to the medical truck. However, the LMG34 upgrade still require the flak truck. Naturally buying the schreck lock out the mp44 and lmg34.
pioneers currently cost 6 pop, but it was 5 in the previous patch. The 200 mp Rear echelon currently sit at 5 pop.
Panzerfusiliser currently cost 6 pop, but it was 5 in the previous patch. the similarly priced rifleman cost 7 pop. (and an up sized tommies is 8 pop...)
shocktrooper currently cost 8 pop, but it was 9 in the previous patch. The similarly priced ober cost 10 pop.
Purely removing shreck from volks would break the balance for another 6 months.
The OKW only really need the schreck for two reasons, Stuart and T70. The schreck on the volks are a life save if you went medical first and the other guy rush a stuart.
However, right now the schreck spam is becoming cancerous. Instead of using combine arms the okw are just spamming schreck until King tiger. The OKW already have the best armor line up in the game, with or without doctrine. They don't need access to the strongest inf anti-tank weapon on their base unit as well.
To say that volks schreck is okay just because the Rifleman can pull off the same thing is ignoring the realities of the two games.
The Schreck blob have the OKW's bread and butter since release, and it have only been tolerated because it was really the only reliable strategy for the OKW and it was beatabe.
Except now the OKW doesn't need the schreck blob. They have access to some of the most powerful tank in the game. Pziv, jp4, panther, and King Tiger give the OKW the most powerful tank line up in the game.
Even taking into account doctrinal call in, the OKW armor corp is still the most powerful line up.
A USF player trying to bazooka spam is going to quickly realize that's his only bag of trick. The OKW schreck isn't just powerful because of its own strength, it's because the blob is backed up by some of the most powerful unit in the game.
I hate bazooka blob and schreck equally. The bazooka blob was only tolerated because it was weak.
Strong unit carrier
The bren carrier can take some punishment, but it suffers from the same problems that all light vehicles suffer from, which is easy infantry-based AT. Obviously not so good against Wehr, but decent against OKW. Bren in Bren, if you're willing to spend the fuel and munitions, is really good. Better than the armored car out of T2, I think.
UCs could also get a HP increase on vet 3 or 2. Not a massive one, just enough to let them survive an AT hit with enough life left to not die to infantry fire right after.
useless buff. UC will rarely hit vet 2. The UC need a hp buff out of the box. It needs at least 280-320 hp.

carrier: 200 hp, 10/5 armor
222: 240 hp, 9/4.5 armor
how are carriers "durable"? they take less punishment than the 222. The carrier doesn't get bonus sight, cannot reinforce, cannot fire out of garrison, and yet have one of the lowest hp in the game. Furthermore the british doesn't get sapper in the beginning.
