Thread: Unlisted grenade-cost change?16 Dec 2013, 21:37 PM Didn't satchels use to cost 60 and shock nades 45? Satchels cost 45 munitions now, shock nades are 30 and smoke nades 15. Am I just incredibly forgetful or did they actually adjust the prices? In: COH2 Gameplay

I'm pretty sure this is how it already works, except it boosts income by some ridiculous amount so that as long as you hold one or two standard points you get more than enough fuel for armor spam. Why not move the fuel-increase ability to 6 or 7 CPs as people have suggested before? That way you don't get early armor rushes and the 'flavour' of the commander still remains. In: COH2 Balance

Soviet snipers fire really slow, and the spotter dies at range from random shots quite often. With the building nerf conscripts can't stall in buildings like they could last patch either. In the replay akosi posted he had two snipers throughout, and two conscripts to start with- probably not enough to hold back 5 or 6 grenadiers even without g43s. Once-over split his grenadiers up and got forced away one by one along the peripherals if I'm not wrong, so the G43s couldn't get to work in that replay. Just my uneducated opinion though. Thread: akosi's strategy15 Dec 2013, 11:54 AM Just a little theorycraft here- lightning war might work well against it, since g43s counter snipers pretty well, combined with fast infantry movement to chase down and force retreats/kill retreating snipers. No armor before T3485s leaves you free to save for Tigers while stalling the 2CP gap with fausts/paks. I haven't faced sniper-spam in a long time though, and I don't have lightning war myself, so take this suggestion with a grain of salt. In: Red Army Strategies

Actually I think it's better- previously it would have been the guy in the window dying outright, then the next guy who took his place, so on and so forth. Now it's spread out, so you can retreat and heal up for no cost. Rate of damage taken overall should be the same. In: COH2 Gameplay

The models with roast almost instantly with no recourse for retreat or movement. They just flat out die It would be nice if you could manually decrew and recrew the weapon like with airborne in the CoH1 campaign, in that mission where they attack the V1 facility, so you can dodge molotovs. There's probably a way to abuse this in some manner, but it's just a thought.
