USF already has the HE sherman for squadwiping, but it feels like other than the pack howitzer, which doesn't last long against stukas, they don't have much indirect damage dealers that can crack MGs and Paks in the lategame. That has to be a (hilarious) bug, I can't see that lasting very long. Even if the medcrates are collectable by all sides, they still ought to reduce the bonuses imparted to troops. Dropped behind 2 or 3 grens it's suicide to charge and try to pick up, and suicide to fight at range and have damage done get out-healed. Here's a game with lots of medcrate spam- http://www.coh2.org/replay/22198/coked-up-grenadiers by the game end there were so many crates all over the map that his grenadiers were nearly permanently under the effect of ~~drugs~~ "medicine". Scatter is already very similar when barraging- just 1m worse. Autofire is pretty bad though, 4m worse to be exact. That could probably be tweaked. It's not possible to not blob at the point for a couple seconds if you need to retreat your squads. Since when was blobbing in the base sector an issue anyway, so much so that it needed 'anti-blob tactics' to defeat? That being said arty in base is fine, in my opinion, except for the okw 105mm at high munitions levels. the US armor arty has a huge spread so you need to move far far away from the red smoke, but that's about it. Brummbar does everything somewhat well, but not well enough to make up for the cost and tech... especially since the StuG E does all it can do for less than half the price not even including teching and building cost, while also having something like a third of the reload time. To call it a blob counter would be inaccurate... better put, it's a squad preservation counter and veterancy counter, all for the same effort as blobbing. Throw in mines and guards and it's a 'all except JT and Elefant' counter. It's not so much a blob eater delux! as a squad eater deluxe. In: COH2 Gameplay
