Thread: CoH2 Day 1 DLC why I think it's "pay to win"25 Jun 2013, 16:43 PM "A_E's faux-shock" - why would I do that, it's not like I get more than 500 YouTube views, I genuinely am quite annoyed that they bothered to split thte commanders up, when they're made of the same units and abilities. "How else do you think Relic will support a six-year-plus game cycle" With the full price of release? It's not uncommon... In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: CoH2 Day 1 DLC why I think it's "pay to win"25 Jun 2013, 15:24 PM Oh yeah don't get me wrong, the other side of the coin is the "haha plebeian look at the paint I'm licensed to use on my armoured cavalry. You can not paint your tanks the same colour as mine, and therefore I am superior!" In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: CoH2 Day 1 DLC why I think it's "pay to win"25 Jun 2013, 15:14 PM "It's pay to win if the purchasable content gives you an obvious advantage. Currently, that isn't the case. All the purchasable content does right now is give you variety." Variety of tactics usable is a distinct advantage. You deploy with three chosen commanders, some of which your enemy can't deploy with. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Best Freakin Game Played Yet!11 Jun 2013, 14:54 PM Pretty much! They have a bad history of it too, in 2007 you couldn't turn off fog of war without using mods. In: Replays
Thread: Best Freakin Game Played Yet!11 Jun 2013, 13:10 PM Unfortunately the new patch means you get sync errors in cheat commands when watching a replay. So I can't do what I was planning on doing In: Replays
Thread: Best Freakin Game Played Yet!11 Jun 2013, 11:43 AM Yeah kinda! Although it's more about recording the UI in Fraps then adding in scenes in OBS. Then casting the FRAPS recording, and a taskbar free shoutcast at the same time. Using a second screen to view the UI whilst I cast. It'll be a very labour intensive way of doing it, relative to how much I usually do. I usually just cast straight to Twitch with a password, then upload directly to YouTube. You can do a lot with that, if you put your mind to it! In: Replays
Thread: Best Freakin Game Played Yet!11 Jun 2013, 11:09 AM Casting this in an experimental new format that should mean you can see more of the game and less of the UI, gonna be interesting! In: Replays
Thread: Map Review #1 - Pripyat9 Jun 2013, 19:54 PM TychoCelchuuu Ah come on you're a full length gameplay commentator, that's your thing! Let me have this niche In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Map Review #1 - Pripyat9 Jun 2013, 14:18 PM No of course you're right! There's no fixed positions in COH2 yet, I had a bit of a brain spasm when I said that bit. Perhaps I was caught up in the battle itself too much In: COH2 Gameplay
