Redesigning can be a tricky endeavor. If a maps fundamentals are reasonable then it is generally worth it to change a map or overhaul it. If the fundamentals are weak and the data shows they are "garbage" they should be dropped from the 1v1 ladder. A mappers experience and insights will be valuable here. Whoever decides which maps are dropped from ladder, if any, will need to determine what their metrics are for that action. I do think there is room for maps to be removed from the 1v1 ladder and replaced with higher quality maps. In: COH2 Balance

That is a good question, havent heard anything. If I were in Relics shoes I would remove whatever 1v1 map has the most vetoes (based on a recently aggregated veto and balance database similar to one like this focusing on 1v1) and keep the veto number the same. Thread: WhiteFlash ladder maps update7 Apr 2019, 21:27 PM As soon as I realized how bad elevation changes were from a perspective of disrupting gameplay in COH2, I should have removed the elevation from Crossroads, its 100% my fault it wasn't done much sooner.
