From several recent post ,subjects : and arguments a like it feels like your are out of touch. Hhaa when is the last time you used an ez8 and describe to me what it did for you? Missed infantry with every single main gun shot, slow, pathing errors that made it worse and Actually I use them regularly and if I do say so myself to rather good use. Here's the replay review I got today with my E8s. https://www.coh2.org/topic/69692/usf-and-okw-1v1-review-please-requesting-dave-j4j-or-devm I don't expect my E8s to deal massive damage to infantry. That's probably why I find them good. I expect the HE sherman to do that, and I expect the E8 with its 215 armor, 720 HP, decent pen and good mobility (0.75 moving accuracy debuff) to deal with armor. However I'm sure the unit differs drastically from 1v1 to 2v2. In 2v2 you have to worry about the StuG from ostheer coupled with pak walls and raks etc. But in 1v1 for its fuel price it can 1v1 either P4 easily due to its 5 shot kill HP pool. In: COH2 Balance

Do you mean designating too many units to that one side? Or do you mean pushing too far on that one side? His infantry force was EXTREMELY lacking compared to yours (just glance at the top left and top right corners at any point after 25 minutes; the difference was huge), I noticed this when I was watching the replay myself, however why, even though this massive gap was obvious, couldn't I take any more territory than he could. Could had sworn they reduced their stats. Just want to ask what is the optimum range for shocktroop and ranger? I see that the closer they are to you the faster you die. Just gonna wing this one. Shock troops optimum is 0 I believe since the PPSH profile is strongest at 0. Thompson rangers have a more forgiving DPS curve and are roughly equal DPS wise at ranges 0 and 10. Like the StG they still perform very decent at mid range. If you mean the m1 carbines they're stronger mid to close like m1 garands, but have worse long range accuracy but stronger RoF at close.
