I'm fine with it not costing munitions, but then it shouldn't be able to be toggled during combat. Sometimes it simply vanishes directly in front of my tanks. Or it can be toggled during combat, but comes with forced hold fire when activated.
The commando camo has the same predator capabilities. Disappearing in front of my units with ease.

A 6 pounder, counter battery pre nerf, a Cromwell and a comet, a mortar pit and a horde of tommies with Double brens and multuple Vickers in trenches.

Played, and a lot. Didn't find much differences with other mortars. It insta-wipes, do it often, but it's ain't rare for other mortars. For example, I played right now and Ostheer mortar insta wiped my soviet mortrar, by insta killing 5 men... Does it mean, that ostheer mortar is OP as hell and needs to be nerf? Not sure.
And when I played against USF mortar it wasn't big problem for me to counter it. Specially with LeIGs.

USF needed a counter to MGs & buildings, especially on bad maps like semois summer & road to kharkov, where you can easily get base pinned by MGs
Yes they do. But Relic didn't give us the fully tested 61mm mortar, they instead gave us the unbalanced piece of shit we have in game now. That thing is OP. |
You know, ostheer's mortar direct hits really often causing death of 3 or 4 models in Maxim squad... And Ostheer mortar can be very accurate too.

Yeah but UKF doesn't fight the most accurate laser guided and fast firing mortar in the game. UKF also doesn't have to fight mortar pit that can quite often insta wipe mg teams. |

14 is still too high. 12 pop at the most IMO.
Even with the lower pop I don't think I'd ever make it. It's way too fragile, and gets wrecked by pretty much everything except small arms fire.
It also can't shoot through buildings, but has brace, but is never used because useless. |
