Good first map, glad to see others picking up the gauntlet. Good you share some screens here too? |
|
I'll post feedback in a few day(s), dl'd the map, and it isn't bad for a first one, but it has a lot of issues too. Will give a full list when I get a moment. |
|
Need screens of the map to determine it, but there is a value for objects that will eventually start crashing your map after to many have been placed, although I'm not entirely sure what that number actually is. It does happen. |

Verify the integrity of the game cache via steam. You got a corrupted file during the download most likely. |
|
Glad it worked for you, it was most certainly the spaces, I don't think you were past the character limit for an upload. Just as a rule of thumb, when you are saving any files ever, use "_" for the space. Will save you a lot of future grief. GL with your map. Can't wait for you to share. |

Try what zombi said, if you have the owner ship of the territory sectors set to world, it will allow you to save and export but it won't allow you to interact with (give orders or move) because you do not technically own them.

Ah I responded to the wrong thread I think, make sure to NEVER have any spaces in your names and if possible don't put the player amounts in the name either. You only need it in the scenario properties. Sometimes it won't upload if your map name is past a certain character limit. |
|
Nope, it is the awkward way you described, enjoy. |
Hi can anyone figure out why my map will not upload to steam and coh2 please. And does anybody know what this means plz thnx.
No clue, but if I had to wager a guess is that your file saving hierarchy is wrong. Could you post the file path your map is saved under? |

Announcement with something on my end and Relic with including DoW 3 is coming soon. End of month, so stay tuned I suppose (it mainly effects content creators though, and a wee bit for top players). I'm trying to do things and are so are a small handful at Relic the problem is the top of the pyramid at Relic/Sega are only interested in making money as fast as possible, which severely handicaps things.
My point is, that you are mostly correct, but there are things being done behind the scenes as well. Hopefully it will pan out, but only time will tell. |
