I prefer having the freedom to choose. It's quite simple in my opinion... I prefer freedom over restriction... I prefer practicy over aesthetic...
If you can choose, you can do what you want. Also take in mind that higher field of view affects frames per second and detail should be reduced to preserve higher FPS.
In addition to this, I would even replace the tactical map to a full map zoom view with a hotkey so you have a max gameplay zoom set to a coh2 zoom level and the full zoom to the tactical map view.

01/12/2021 - Good match.
First of all. Capping order. You get the right fuel before de linking point, so you don't start receiving the +7 after the 1,18 minute mark. Take in mind that normal points get captured much faster than fuel and ammo points. It's also faster to cap two normal points than one fuel point and they give you ammo too. Don't go crazy with fuel points. Two normal points are better than one fuel point, and sometimes they deny resources to your oponnent.
Second. You have your mg half life in the house and 2 entities... it could be very fast killed, and it is later... press the retreat button as soon as it gets out of the house. I recommend you install and use AUTOHOTKEYS...
Third. Don't allow you opponent to get your mg so easily. It's cheaper to get it and retreat+reinforce to rebuild one. Moreover, you are granting him that advantage over you.
Fourth. Build the medic bunker as soon as you need it. In the minute 5 mark, you have everybody in your base and is a good moment to very fast build it withe everybody at the same time while reinforcing.
Five. Take much care of your light vehicles when you go for it. They die easily running in front of a MG as you see in the 9 minute mark. You overexpose it going after the bren carrier and an AT was waiting for you. Light vehicles hurt brits, because the need to go AT, PIATs or AEC, so tanks arrive much later. They are fast and help you moving away from where they camp.
Six. Sniper dealing. It's difficult, but you need to bait him and move him out of the safe zone. As soon as you see it, you need to go back and try to round it with at least a pair of infantry units. Try to cover its retrating path.
Seven. You see very soon that your oponent is a camper... you need to be patient. Don't bleed entities and units one by one because you are giving him a mid-late game big advantage. Make him bleed instead forcing him to go out of his camp. Fight where you feel more confortable. Move him and keep your units together. Use smoke when capping. You can use smoke over MGs or over you capping unit... mortar smoke is very useful. You can have 2VPs and make him move, so you can make him bleed then... you are fighting where he wants, not you.
Eight. I like using recon option commanders. If you fight against a camper, knowing what he has is key. I'm sure you don't figure what he has easily. Sometimes you face more than expected, and sometimes less... it helps you plan your attacks, or movements. Look at what he has and then think what or where could you hurt him more. You also have spotting scopes, which are great in scout units, like you lost 222.
17,48 minute mark. You gift a full gren squad. Take care and preserve your units.
Retreat and heal your mortar after that, and remember to use smoke when attacking.
The comet is a very good tank... figure facing one of these or a churchill if you don't see any more fast armour on his side. You could stop building panzer as soon as you see it, so you would need a panther instead. Anyway, take in mind the fireflies have panthers for lunch... so you would also need to counter that too with more pzgrens with shrecks (you had plenty of ammo to buy them).
Repair you panzer as far or protected and as soon as possible...
Fighting against a wall is frustrating... try to round it and attack the back or his base with a tank rush...
Your best unit was the panzerwerfer... maybe building another and defending your position could have been a good idea too... the panzerwerfer makes him to get out of his camp.
Be careful with white phosphorous from the comet. It destroyed a full health gren in a moment.
At the end, it's a desperate battle, where your opponent has more tham 1000 manpower floating...
Well, that's all for now. Hope this helps you and feel free to discuss everything you want. I'm not an expert player, but I have been playing CoH from 2006... Kisses!

Hi. Take a look at you GPU usage. Use GPUz and poll the game so you can see if it's being bottlenecked or on the other hand, it may not be having workload...
Thread: Using the same commanders over and over24 Sep 2021, 07:39 AM

I have found myself using the same commanders over and over, mainly due to synergy with T1. I always have NKVD, Defense tactics and Airborne in my loadout and gotten a little bored so I have been trying out other commanders such as Counter attack and Shock army which has been fun even if they don't work out as well as I would like sometimes. I also like Lend lease but constantly find myself floating muni.
Hi! I agree with you. IMO, sometimes the best or meta commanders fit the best players playstyle, but the rest of humans have slower movements, less agressive, less micro... so there are other commanders that fit better those playstyles. In addition to this, this game has a lot of years and I can say its funnier now than before. You have five factions, every match is a bit different depending on your factions and your opponents factions and the commanders add much more diversity, so I find very funny to try different commanders, changing playstyles, shifting gears and keep the fun. That's the main reason I have to try different things.

Thread: Anti spam with USF6 Sep 2021, 14:07 PM
Hi to everyone!
What do you guys think are the best current anti spam methods with USF vs OST and OKW?
In the early game you have the 50cal or the m15 later... but the 50cal is easily countered (low suppression and small arc of fire) and the m15AA is "very light" and easy to lose it, especially in mid to late game, in addition to not being able to face almost any other vehicle (except 222, and Flak HT).
Later, you have the sherman with explosive shells, but maybe you are going to face a PzIV.
What do you guys usually use? Spam vs spam? mines? Calliope? 105mm Sherman?

Thank you very much! That site is great!
Who created or who is the owner of that site?

Hi to everyone.
A simple question. Is there any place, link, hub or url where we could see the list of current commanders (and I mean current and updated with the last patch), abilities, CPs and descriptions?
I usually look here... but it's not updated too.
Thread: Ladder ranking, player features22 Aug 2021, 17:12 PM
Hi to all.
Could anybody write the main differences of a 1v1 player depending on his ladder ranking?
I'm a 900 ranking right now and I have gone through a hard way to achieve it. I still learn a lot in each match, especially when I lose. Most of the time I lose I can see what I did wrong, so I can see more learning room, but I think that diagram could help us to improve and find our weak points. The better we all play, the funniest matches we'll have.

but: minimap and icons on the right side are reaaaaly far away from the center with those super wide screens.
I'm with you but I play at 3440x1440 (ultrawide) and I feel claustrophobia if back to 16:9.
Imho, I think it depends on your play style, because I use a lot the tactical map with hotkeys, but not the minimap. The cons are what Gunther said, but I think that those are the only cons. On the other side you have a much wider field of view and your battle awareness will improve for sure. As I said, going back to 16:9 is a big step back now for me.
And remember you need a decent graphics card because otherwise that resolution will drop your FPS for sure.
Hope this help you. Kisses!
