Thread: List of Brit Bugs/General Bugs18 Jan 2016, 18:49 PM "9. Unable to repro" Happens often for me... Vickers takes time ( dismantling) to exit building but then sits outside the building dismantling the Vickers again ( usually in the line of fire) when you want it to retreat. Effectively means to retreat a Vickers from a garrison you have to suffer 2 setup times before retreating, which usually results in a wipe. In: COH2 Bugs

And this from someone who can't keep ma mortar pit alive for more than 5 minutes. Concentration of force or Schwerpunkt is a key facet in military doctrine, the idea that you want to get rid of it doesn't make sense to me. Good players don't seem to use it or have a problem facing it so I rather suspect we are merely being outplayed. In: COH2 Balance

My gaster is flabbered that the Bren does more damage at range than close up, totally counter-intuitive. Is this the same for the mmg carrier upgrade? Also is there any way to calculate suppression for a combination of weapons, such as UC MMG + Vickers covering each other? In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: UC / Bren Carrier...17 Jan 2016, 20:35 PM Just read on Cruzz's thread that the UC does more damage at long range than at short... I've been using them wrong. I'll give them another try either covering a Vickers or guarding several strat points at maxish range. Could do with making a map and range circles app so that the optimum position of emplacements and UCs could be determined, I'm thinking 2 UCs with their low maintenance and interlocking arcs of fire might solve some of the cutoff and strat point pinching that pioneers tend to get up to... Edit: In fact I'm wondering now whether there is a way to guarantee a pin on roving shreck blobs outside of their max range with some combination of UCs and Vickers, which I think is 35m. Is there any particular unit or tactic that you see which makes you reach for a particular ability? Currently I'm trying them out one by one, with Vanguard and Tactical support being my favourites. Quite tempted by RE after watching Latch's videos in another thread, Stand fast and the AVRE look to be really annoying for the Axis. Other than deciding to use a particular commander from the outset I don't really know how I would choose... In: UKF Strategies
