Any bullet, grenade, tank shell, mortar etc. that crosses a squad's green cover will deal half damage, which is why it seems weak sometimes. Meanwhile, squads in yellow cover clump, which compensates for RG's smaller AoE, and don't receive any damage reduction which is why it seems so lethal much of the time. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Advanced Emplacement Regiment discussion20 Apr 2017, 22:25 PM IMO, forward assembly should be a muni cost and repair vehicles only (basically Brit repair bays) while Counterbattery should become something like Coh1's Brit Overwatch. It is the ONLY unit in the game that move like that, exactly like the WM bike in vcoh. also the deathloop is still an issue, no other MGs suffer from that... I actually agree with this, or at least the cherry-picked parts. I can understand not fixing the motorcycle pathing before when its set-up time was short as hell, but now that extra second or two is killer. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Will we get more commanders and bulletins? 13 Apr 2017, 03:57 AM There's some stuff I'd like to see, but I feel we're better off overhauling and fixing the existing doctrines before adding more (supposing Relic even gives enough of a damn + won't break it again). I definitely would love to see some of the functional models in-game to be reskinned and used again for something, eg. replacing Opel Blitz with 221 or Funkwagen w/ MG. Thread: USF need changues & remake commanders12 Apr 2017, 06:04 AM I was under the impression that the USF was at the same tech costs as anybody else (minus maybe Brits w/out sidetech). Shuffling costs could be interesting to make them more flexible in their openings, but the less intrusive way would be to fix the USF's terrible Commander roster (the obvious three withstanding). WC51s, AssEngies, Pathfinders and Flamer REs all provide alternatives to the Rifle Rifle Rifle Rifle openeing, but are either utter crap, in a lackluster doctrine or both. In: COH2 Balance
