So apparently no tweaks to upkeep yet, pretty much the most obvious and important change. Did you see how many units there were in that screenshot? I can understand a mp income that low in a situation displayed there. And besides, that screenshot is from the campaign I think. They can adjust mp income for the single player missions if they wanted too, if it would help the gameplay in a certain mission. This doesn't say anything about the MP income/popcap for multiplayer In: Lobby

And simply "don't give a f" whatever someone says to you in-game. It is the internet after all. If Barton wants to act like an idiot on the internet, then he should do so And no user gets a 'special treatmant' by the admins. I liked it untill some random guy named "Richard Winters" ran up a cliff with his M1 Garand and started shooting at the rest of a whole SS division. IRL: 1. He would never made it up that cliff in the first place because the germans were not russians and were smart enough to set up guards. 2. Lets pretend he made it up that cliff: before he even had fired off one shot he would most likely have catched a few shots from each of them between his eyes. In the movie: Instaed he stood there for like 1 minute before the rest of his buddies showed up. They started a gunfight which also lasted for like 2 minutes before the US artillery appeared. They killed like 70 germans and lost ONE guy. That was just ONE of the lame scenes. REALISTIC? They were SS btw! Once again, I'd suggest you watch the episode again. Gonna try to explain this to you why they managed to take down a whole company of SS. The germans didn't have guards set up on that position for the following reason: They were preparing for an attack. They were going to hit Easy's HQ few miles up ahead (Colonel Sink says that right after the battle to Winters). That means they weren't expecting an American attack coming from there. It caught them totally off guard at first, that's why they didn't fire on Winters right away. Ofcourse they made it a bit more dramatic in the TV series, with Winters standing there heroically on a dike firing off krauts. Pretty certain it didn't go exactly like that IRL. After that the Germans clearly panicked, thinking a big US attack was coming. And started to retreat through the open field, making it a proper turkey shoot. That's why they took down a whole company. Hope you get it now. But lets stick to the topic here In: News

Just a group of guys running around killing a bunch of elite SS without almost taking a single casultie.. Not sure what series you have been watching.. BoB is based on real stories from veterans of the 101st AB division 'Easy' Company. All written down in a book by Stephen Ambrose (Who wrote some other books about WW2 aswell). Ofcourse the creators (Spielberg and Tom Hanks) had to make it fit for a TV-show, but the stories are based on real life events. You are obviously referencing to episode 5 where they (accidently) attacked a whole company of Germans and completly caught them off guard. After the fight they clearly says that they had several wounded and 1 casualty. Besides that, BoB is more then just about 'shooting krauts' as you try to put it. Maybe you should pay more attention when watching it next time In: News
Thread: Six Generals Heat vs One General Winter = unfair fight?5 May 2013, 19:36 PM It's all about the scale.. On the real Eastern Front there were millions of soldiers suffering from the cold. In a game of COH2 you won't see much more then 50 soldiers at the same time. Ofcourse you won't lose that many soldiers to that cold. And I don't want cold tech to have more influence in the multiplayer. The blizzards are annoying enough to me. Maybe they can add some settings for custom games in which you can set how much cold tech you want, for those that just can't get enough of it In: COH2 Gameplay

We got a M48 Patton, but not all rivers have bridges (or they are too small). But we still wanted to cross, so we build our own 'custom' bridge (Sandbox ftw). This is the result In: Other Games

I could tell without even looking at the spoiler that the best of three had ended after game 2. If you link to a fake youtube vid, you can't tell at first glance that there were only 2 games played How did you know that the series ended after that point? We always put the last (or 2) games behind a spoiler. So for a BO3, game 3 will always be behind a spoiler tag. And in a BO5, games 4 & 5 are always behind a spoiler tag.
