Krebs look like 95% beef. In a good way.
Unless freeprisoner is pushing his arm against his midsection (aka cheating) I'd definitely say him. |
if you have something to say about my person, pm me.

You can change your name, yes. But if you click on the name and select "view profile" you can tell them apart by their descriptions, games owned etc. as well as seeing their account name. So if Spanky is called thighmast3rX253 and everyone knows that, you can find out pretty easy.
We had similiar problems with people trying to impersonate pr0's on the DoW 2 scene, and it was usually easy to foil. (You can even see a list of their old nicks if you want to be sure) |
The DoW section of GR had something similar to this; by linking your steam profile to your account, your ELO got shown below your profile pic. Since steam does show your online ranking for some games it supports, it shouldn't be impossible to do for CoH 2 if they get the same, or a similiar, kind of steam layout. (Not speaking for coh2.org at all now, just personal speculation.) |
Presumably, yes. I did play DoW 2 with similar mechanics and mirror matches, and there seeking cover or using abilities differently didn't save micros from being mostly boring.
Since there are only 2 factions though, there are still less matchups than most RTS games. Make the factions broad and with a lot of customization (bulletins and such) and the mirrors wont be boring. |
The thing about mirrors in this game is that 50% of the games in 1v1 would be mirrors (theoretically). The enjoyable mirror matches I've had in other RTS's are very unusual. Also I enjoyed the tailored matchups that you get from CoH when factions are seperated.
That being said, I agree with Basilone. Some interesting matchups there for sure.
Also it shouldn't be so hard to balance 3 matchups (wehrVSwehr, RusVSrus, RusVSwehr) it's still a small amount for a RTS game. I'll keep my hopes high. |
90% of memes and images made by the internet are already lazy, boring, bloated or annoying. If a developer would put in memes in their game it would be the equivilent of a wall street banker putting on a cap backwards and going out hanging with the protesters.
Also if coh2 holds for 7-8 years like this game, it will be terribly outdated and a pain to have to see that meme 6.8-7.8 years after it's outdated. |
A lot of fun and awesome games. My favourite part of SNF was when Twister came out of his pr0 closet. |
I guess you mean like realistic line of fire? |
Oh, the first comment was just mocking the "if you think THAT is drumming/metal/music/singing/anything-musicrelated..." line in your previous comment, which is why I don't care too much about music communities any more. (horrible attitude generally, esp several metal communities)
I don't enjoy the comparisons. You can make them on a technical level, but at a certain point that doesn't matter to me, at all. What he produces and how it elevates or "make" the music is what matters, same for any music really. In the example of Gavin, he makes '3' 'trains' and 'sound of muzak' for example, into what they are.
EDIT: I also think Rich Hutchins from Phideaux deserves a mention. |
