Officially, the main reason why a lot of EA games aren't found on Steam is simply because their process of releasing DLC clashes with Valve's policy of releasing DLC. I don't know the exact reason but thats why games like mass effect, crysis, dragon age etc. were taken off steam. I foresaw the problem with 3rd party sites not getting immediate access for closed betas for the pre-order, so I bit the bullet and paid the extra cash on the steam store. You do know that Origin is a direct competitor to Steam? OFC they are "against" Steam, they want people to use Origin instead. In: News
