I mostly like this, it would be worth a testout in some mods or beta (for CoH3 I mean, no chance of coh2 gettin such a huge change)
That bein said, I wonder if it wouldnt impact (read: garden up) pacing
For example now if someone sees two lone infantry squads behind green cover and has 4 of theirs nearby, they just put all 4 together, charge the enemy and force a retreat
With this on, theyd have to draw fire with one or two and flank with rest, or just duke it out cover to cover
Which is kinda the point, but we need to see what such a thing would do pacing of the matches and if it wouldnt lead to basepinning, mapcontrol snowballing, etc.
A nobrainer though, would be making all MGs able do their job reliabily and not get hardcountered by double LMG infantry |

Ok, Im sure we are all annoyed by the current USF meta
The question is: What to do with USF once it gets hit by the just nerfhammer? Cause the faction is totally unviable without it, at least in teamgames |
If you could last for 45 mins against Vonivan... hats off to you |
Eindhoven is too small but pretty good too
And Wolfheze, but fuck the weird unintuitive sight blockers that look like regular yellow cover bush
But yeah, the amount of trash in there is pretty high |
Combat engineers are slighty more cost effective after they get flamers
T70 is pretty decent
and SU85 seems more cost efficient then Panther if you dont play on CQB heavy map
Also flare is cool |
The shoutbox is over to the right |
They don´t have the exact same design as Grens
Grens are a smaller, more expensive, high quality unit
These guys are meatshields, underequipped, untrained, with an "I dont care if you just sniped three of us, here comes fourth one" strategy and you can count on them... no really, you can.
Sure there are similarities, like both being meant for long range defensive combat, but thats all
That being said, I do like the idea with 7th man upgrade, just not sure if such change is really needed |
