Thread: UKF Sniper Critical Shot21 Nov 2015, 14:31 PM I'd like to retract my previous grievances regarding Critical Shot. It would seems it has remained unchanged and the change indeed only affects the Sniper's normal shots. I would have known this sooner if it weren't for the fact it took almost two hours to get the mod to work... Oh well. Still, go ahead and continue your discussion on the ability itself then. Thread: UKF Sniper Critical Shot21 Nov 2015, 10:07 AM Quite frankly, I was horrified when I saw the change. Not only was it moved up to Vet 1 (Which is acceptable), but it had the damaged engine critical removed too? I'm sorry, but how is this a good change? All other crits the sniper can do are not all that helpful. While I am aware that Critical Shot made for several headaches to fight against, it was the only thing that made this skill useful. Since the British have no other snares that aren't mines or Doctrinal (AT Infantry Sections), this seems rather drastic. I think it would be a good idea to make Critical Shot better with Vet 3. Kinda like how the Bren Carrier's Self-Repair gets better at Vet 3. In what way it gets better should be up for discussion. EDIT: I'd like to retract my previous grievances regarding Critical Shot. Thread: Universal Carrier Issues10 Nov 2015, 17:10 PM I find that using more than one with the Wasp upgrade, supporting infantry, makes it a lot more useful. Particularly after an area has been devastated by heavy fighting. The damage bonus against cover is quite nice in these cases since Infantry Sections are lackluster when fighting against infantry in light cover. I find myself back-teching to these often when I need a cheap supplement for my armoured forces too. But this would really only be when my forces have been doing reasonably well. The 4 Pop Cap cost is a real bargain. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: American HMG in Trench Going Prone6 Nov 2015, 17:56 PM A bit late on discovering this, but the Russian Maxim HMG seems to suffer from the same problem. It goes prone too. Captured one with an Infantry Section and placed it in, expecting it to use the stand we all know it has. :/ In: COH2 Bugs

Some silly people still spend money on coh2 and that gives them the reason not to fix anything, just to sell more stuff. Just don't waste your money and time on this game. Clearly, you weren't around during the CoH1 days when getting a patch was a really big deal. They were quite uncommon. This is because game sales were the only source of income. With things as they are now, we get A LOT of support now. Will probably get a lot of flak here but I suspect people who bitch and moan about having to pay for additional, mostly optional content - either don't work at all, bit off more than they can chew in life or feel like they should get everything for nothing. Completely ignoring the fact that Relic's employee's wages doesn't grow on trees. I wouldn't change the current setup Relic is going with. Support is far better now than in the past. In: Lobby

The Rocket strike came and wiped the entire garrison and the building knocked down to around 25% health. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Panzerwerfer Garrison Damage16 Oct 2015, 20:03 PM As much as I agree that seeing the Panzerwerfer be useful is a good thing, is it really intentional to make this wipe out garrisoned units as fast as the bugged centaur or Bofors? This thing is extremely dangerous to anything garrisoned in a building or a trench. Should this be allowed? In: COH2 Balance

This happens on alot of units where theres not enough slots,like 6 man penals on the M3,or when you put two squads in an M5/M3 halftrack. There will be guys that "dont" fire. are you saying the teleporting ISNT happenning? It's quite hard to tell if I can be perfectly honest. My heavy weapons (Piats and Bren Guns) are always equipped by someone, taking away my ability to identify a five man replacing someone. Not to mention that back when the Vickers could be garrisoned, the MG can never set up to fire and was missing. Relic said they took the Vickers ability to enter them due to "Odd Behaviour".
