Thread: Ostheer commanders in 2v23 Aug 2015, 00:23 AM Depending on the doctrines the OKW player has available, Luftwaffe supply or Assault Support to augment his fuel income would be very useful. I can recommend anything that gives you a solid early game presence to secure your place on the battlefield, which greatly augments Kubelwagen plays. Mechanised Assault could work for this but don't spam Assault Grenadiers, they really aren't very powerful when they have nothing to back them up. Another option is something like CAS to deal with large infantry blobs, massing LMG grens to compensate for his weak infantry as well as dealing with enemy howitzers that pose a serious threat to him. I'd love some tips on how, especially maps like Einhoven with strict lanes and roads, should I take the fight to the Wehrmacht and win? And how can I beat the Tiger next time this instance arises? Thread: Conscripts need mid-game buff26 Jul 2015, 11:28 AM LMG Grens are absolutely fine because Ostheer are a resource heavy faction, so if he's buying LMGs he's not getting flame HTs, artillery or TWPs. The issue with the PTRS is it still does excellent single target damage and can easily snipe weapons teams, so five Conscripts with PTRSs are something would put all Ostheer early game and light vehicles in the graves forever. As Alexzandvar said, we don't need more incentive to blob, we need something that allows Soviets to play tactically, because all Conscripts are good for atm is flanking MGs early and taking damage, so a grenade package would be welcome.
