Wehrmacht late game relies on solid mid-game play, especially keeping Pak's alive with vet and TWP. You'll find that's key. Your armour will be more of an ace in the hole, finally give you some width and allow you to pressure flanks and maybe, if you're lucky and coordinated help you capitalize on a misplaced ATG or an aggressive over-zealous allied player and give you enough staying power to initiate a break through if you've fallen behind, but often I know I lose games because I'm asking my tanks to do too much and essentially tip the mid-game balance (in which i've already lost) in my favour, which with the exception of the OKW panther, axis armour will really struggle to do. This is why I believe keeping Pak's alive and again, playing tactically solid from start to finish with combined arms, will go a lot further than asking your armour to carry you. Krupp Steel is a myth.
i have about 17 clips of rifle squads either getting wiped or seriously maimed by a Grw34 from the previous patch. sample size bias yes, as nearly all i was playing were the yankees, (especially considering the few times i did swap, my wehr mortars weren't ever as gnarly). but in my experience, something about that thing puts it leagues above even the 120mm and 250/7 for me. perception bias perhaps.
with the previous discussion of logistics. it made me ponder what extent the efforts of the RAF and USAF had on logistics and infrastructure during the european theater and if a large impact, to what extent it may've hampered the long term invasion logistics.

I find if I Alt-Tab at the loading screen, the camera acts as if the alt key is pressed. Alt-Enter or Alt-Tab and a quick double tap of the backspace is nearly starting to become as a habitual as a build order.
Not costing as much munitions as a light artillery barrage would also be nice...it certainly ain't the general-purpose wrecking crew M1919A6 Paras are.
yeah, i feel like it's a hold over from the launch patch. before hand any flame could alt-f4 entire armies of infantry.
but again, it's not like relic to take a holistic approach to balance.
