Getting vet 2 is its only saving grace. And getting that later can hardly be compensated. I suppose he's figuring that he'd rather get an offensive bonus earlier so if he keeps the Panther damaging without taking too much fire, he'll vet up faster. But yeah, I'd definitely prefer being tougher so I'm not as likely to lose it before vet 3 too. In: COH2 Balance

Stats can easily be adjusted. It'd take a bit of work since they'd have to mess with pretty much all of their combat stats in compensation for their new squad member and it'd be such a shame to mess with the absolutely perfect balance of early Grens vs. Scripts. Just fix them having a poor formation, Infantry Section can manage it, right? ...and then probably all of the other non-UKF 4-man squads too. The formation is probably 95% of the cons to Falls. As abhorrent as the ability is in practice, that aspect is entirely logical from a realistic sense. The methods for locating out counter-barrage targets don't need for the shells that their enemy guns are firing to create spectacular explosions when they hit the ground for them to seek out.
