Thread: Airborne and Pathfinders lower CP ?15 Mar 2016, 15:47 PM airborne is my favorite commander. it pretty much deals with anything axis throw at you. BUT. It's kinda hard to use. but LMG paras are monsters, and if you use them together with finders you can keep reinforcing on the field and auto heal makes them excellent mobile units. what most people go wrong is making too much rifles, if you are getting paras+finders you need to use RETs as meatshields/cappers and let the paras do the shooting while keeping casualties to a minimum. I am really not a fan of the thompsons since allied infantry dies too fast on close combat. In: COH2 Balance

I had few 2v2 after hotfix agasint very good opponents and the scenario in always the same. Insane struggle in early game leading to heavy VP bleed, slowly recapturing territory, getting to the late game, seems like we are going to make amazing comeback, losing by VP (becasue of early game bleed). I could get 2 Grens to 1700% efficiency, sniper with 50kills, Command Pz4 that survives 8500dmg, double vet 3 HMG but in the end, USF blob with Brits support or maxim spam is always on top of that. You micro your ass like fuck and yet you still have hard time againt a-move blobs. OKW is free from this but OST... Garedn me.. Next time don't sit around all game waiting for tiger. get flakpanzers or panzerwerfer and you are good. Ost might not be "broken" as the other factions, but they are the strongest by far, only fanboys would not agree with this. most times I play ost I don't even pick commanders since they have everything from the get go. Thread: Penals as suicide units?13 Mar 2016, 06:17 AM Penals are okay now, I'm using them a lot, but their problem is the same as shocks, they are too damn fragile, you will always lose 1-2 model before even getting close to the enemy. They are great tough when you get someone by surprise or if they fight 1v1 against other units. I found they are best used to defend flanks or far away points or VPs because most of the times people send only one gren or volks to cap those far away points. In: COH2 Balance

It even has a setup and teardown time like an MG does. Is it a good solution? Hell no, as 55 fuel is not a cheap investment for a 320hp unit, but it is an instant suppression unit. if the enemy is blobbing infantry, he will have little time to micro something else, and the flak halftrack has huge range, attack ground and great vet bonuses. Its more than enough to stop blobs. also, flame nades and many other things can wear them down. okw players should cry less and try to diversify their strats. In: COH2 Balance
