Thread: OH Sniper2 Apr 2015, 09:50 AM I don't understand how people think that a Katyusha rocket should have killed that sniper in the trending video. Realism < Balance. It might look stupid that an infantry model can survive this but I really don't think that someone deserves to lose/kill a sniper because of such randomness. It shouldn't be possible to kill snipers (Soviet and German) with lucky RNG based mortar/katyusha hits. Period. The German sniper is now perfect IMO. No annoying lucky wipes by indirect fire anymore (unless it's a 120-mm mortar, static arty or off-map arty). Still vulnerable to direct fire (small arms, vehicles, mines). In: Lobby

Don't let Alexandzvar confuse you. It has already been said that snipers always kill an infantry model via death crits. I don't see problem with German snipers having 82HP. Sure, they can't be one-shotted by everything that deals 80DMG but let's be real: Soviet snipers very often survive mortar hits as well. And they can't be instagibbed by ATGs/bazookas as well. German snipers now have similar HP, Soviet snipers are less likely to get wiped though. Hit a mine with a German sniper and its gone. Lucky AT gun hits, tank hits etc will wipe a German sniper whereas the Soviet sniper will survive due to the second model.
