Because of its fast setup and teardown, being able to lockdown a bigger area felt like it could be a little scary. Thread: Tank Support Mechanic for Infantry26 Jun 2015, 14:38 PM I think everyone knows that tanks (or even light vehicles?) provide green cover for infantry as long as they [tanks] don't move. I was thinking about a new mechanic that would allow infantry to "follow" a tank and thus receiving green cover while they advance. How this would work: 1. Get a tank 2. Move an in infantry squad close to the tank so that it receives green cover 3. Activate the new ability "support tank" (or whatever name would be appropriate) If you now move the tank, the infantry squad will "stick" to the tank (the tank will have severely reduced speed) while having green cover. The cover would still be directional. Would it be possible and, most importantly, would it make sense to implement such a mechanic? In: Scrap Yard

The "reward" for flanking an HMG is that you render it useless (it will have to re-position) giving you time to push. Even if you don't manage to wipe it, flanking an HMG is better than getting suppressed and having to retreat In: COH2 Gameplay

Green cover reduces incoming damage so unless you rifle squad is already almost dead it will take 40% reduced damage and not be wiped. Green cover actually reduces damage by 50%. In: COH2 Balance
