I suppose we should nerf them so they will loose to everything that isn't combat engineer or RET, because they are light infantry meant for reckon and scavenging only according to description and ability kit. They are literally called Hunter Light Infantry, you can't get any more "about hunting" than that. JLI have not nearly the same roll as IR Pathfinders or Pathfinders, they are hunters meant to be deployed behind enemy lines to capture points and disrupt weapons teams. You can easily deduce this by the following: Name of the unit, only gets cloak at vet 1, and ability to trap points. In: Lobby

This is the sole reason why conscripts don't exist in late game and why ppsh is worst possible thing in game. Conscripts do exist late game, having an AT snare around is always extremely helpful, as is the ability to crew and reinforce weapon teams on the fly. I agree that Cons need a better late game help instead of the PPsH but Shocks and Assault Guards are excellent. In: Lobby

It's not made to reinforce or to attack, it's made to carry PzGrens behind lines and wipe all crew weapons - such usage is just deadly against soviets T2 (T1 as well.) until cons get at nades. It also force soviet player to upgrade at nades few minutes earlier slowing tech a bit. Uh, I always have AT nades by the time HT Pgrens come out, so unless he's gone ONLY T2 with no support it's not going to work. Really the most useful thing about HT Pgrens is giving them shreks so they can become ultra mobile (if fragile) AT. In: COH2 Gameplay

They use paratrooper rifles like Pathfinders, and have 1 special model in the squad with the IR backpack but he uses the same rifle to. It feels like they just forgot to add the sniper rifles to them, but because they do have Para rifles they do only 3 less DPS than Riflemen lol. In: Lobby

I do think the I&R Pathfinders should get the sniper rifles that the Airborne Pathfinders have. For all I know, they are supposed to have them and no one ever gave them the proper attributes.
