@Cynthia, official forums
That makes it kind of scary knowing alex is in and Hans or Barton not.
Now I got shivers.

Ofc, but getting 1 Panther at 15 then basically no armor for a long, long time is fairly is still a fairly big handicap. 1 Panther isn't going to stop 2 85's or an IS2. With Ost your paying out of the ass for teching costs even more. In: COH2 Gameplay |

I wouldn't call the core of OKW's design "pointless" but I specifically mentioned that if you don't count teching costs it's the most expensive one in the game game. If you make a Schwer (which you will always do as OKW), then your spending about the same fuel as a Soviet player is. Free first tier + 120 for the Schwer. In: COH2 Balance |

Well, players would not abuse the call in Tanks if the Allies had stock T-34/85s, IS2s or Ez8s. The simple fact is Axis has stock Panthers and King Tigers which eat up T-34s and Shermans. Stock units would be more expensive, and less used. I don't think you understand how much fuel investment there is for OKW or Ostheer to acquire said tanks such as Panthers and KT's. It's better for Allies for the 85's, Ez8's and IS2's to be call in's, as it makes them cheaper. A OKW Panther is worth as much as an IS2; Unadjusted: 175 + 80 = 255 Adjusted: (175/.66)+(80/.66)= 386. Concept of Ace tank (concept, not exact CoH2 implementation) is fun for both sides: one get strong tank which win all 1v1 but should be used carefully, other get an ultimate enemy which need to be taken down with wolf pack of mediums or something like that. For a long time Iv thought that the PIV's in Elite Armored should come in both with Vet 5 but give the same negative (but a bit less) effects as the Tiger Ace does. Game could use more ace/veteran units, and by that I mean both sides. In: COH2 Balance |

Not counting teching costs, at all here. The Stuka with OKW's fuel penalty is 150 fuel which is more than Soviet T4. The 120 doesn't require teching at all, and it's role is different to that of the Stuka's.
50/.66 = 75.5 lol Nerf precision strike called rifle nade then? Imagine a unit that fired rifle nades for free, but with larger AoE, range and more squad wipes. Ta da! You have the 120mm mortar. That said unit clumping is to blame in the Rifle Nade's case. In: COH2 Balance |

As in it takes 1 extra shot. And the stuka isn't for countering standard mobile infantry, it's for building clearance and killing enemy support weapons teams. If you try to use a stuka versus a skilled player your going to be doing a whole lot of nothing because the blasts are easy to avoid due to the very distinct firing sound combined with the travel time of the rockets, something that isn't possible with the 120. See My guess is that it depends on a algorithm that checks your options, that you picked in combination with the game modes you play and your total playtime. Hans/others probably picked options that got filled fast. In: COH2 Gameplay |
