Just don't attack these bits until you can deal with it late game. Treat them like a set of deployed OKW Trucks, but less sturdy. It's not that OKW lacks tools to clean these up, OST TurboMortars cleans them up quickly too (and their smoke is awesome, often underrated!) Edit: But eh, you do not play the game at all.. I have played 1300 hours since release and was in the top 10 2v2 some time ago. If you could comprehend sentences, you would have seen that I wrote: "Brits are weak. Their emplacements are annoying to play against." Yes, it can be handled. But ignoring parts of the map, being restricted in your movement and having to use artillery and then flame weapons and all that in conjunction while the Brit player has to press one fucking button, is shit. Sitting on your lazy ass, is not what made me play this game in the first place. Emplacements are the cancer of Coh. I even wrote the word "annoying" in big letters so it wouldn´t be misunderstood. I dont want to play axis simply because they are op, i like to earn my victory. The best Allied faction currently is the USF. They are the easiest to blob. Meanwhile the OKW blobs and can win games by building one unit. I barely play the game any longer. It´s just blob versus blob. You get punished for using combined arms (which is the opposite this game once was about). Every now and then a cancer emplacement from the Brit appears, which is no fun to play against. This is the strange thing: Brits as a faction are weak. Yet, they are no fun to play against as the emplacements are incredibly annoying. I actually mentioned pre release that the idea of emplacement made Brits the most hated faction in COH1. I can´t understand at all why someone at Relic had the idea to introduce an "indestructible" button to this pest. Emplacements simply have no place in this game. This being said, I would like to see a total redesign of Brits. In: Lobby

While not that much of a problem in 1vs1s, it´s incredibly easy to get two snipers or more out in 2vs2s. This destroys games and is incredibly dull to play against. In: COH2 Balance

Other strategy games have an economy system where you can lean back and don´t have to be super aggressive. Further it is common that all units can damage all units. For example in CnC a rifleman can still damage a tank. Rightfully so this is not the case in Coh. Tried to introduce my older brother into the game. He was absolutely confused by when to build what and he could not get his mind around the fact he had to push. All he did though was building fuel caches close to the base. I guess it was just too damn frustrating for him. An old buddy of mine played the game and quit when he found out that SU-85s and Jacksons had more range than Panthers. The best thing you can do is playing randoms and if you have a good teammate add him. Other than that the game - especially at higher levels - is too frustrating for newcomers. In: Lobby

It´s quite easy. You and the guy are in the same skill-group. You finish the game and rejoin the queue at the same time. The chances of getting matched again are high. T34 is great to secure flanks while SU85 is amazing against Panthers, Tigers and KTs. Imo the SU-85 is not bad per se and offers good vet. But it is quite redundant. The SU-76 does perform reasonably well. And for a T-34/76 or the SU-85 alone, I honestly don´t think you should go T4. Though seeing how restrictive Soviet doctrinal choices are (either good mediums OR artillery), you often don´t have a choice but using those in long games. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Soviet Tank Strategy1 Jan 2016, 16:13 PM Don´t build the T-34. Don´t build the SU-85. Take a T-34/85 doctrine. Later try to mass multiple T-34/85s. Another viable thing is using the lend lease doc and Spam M4 Shermans without teching. Go for short engagements on different parts of the map. Try to kill infantry squads and stay mobile. If you don´t, you will get defeated by a Pak wall or a Schreck blob. The art to master Soviet tanks is to only go for short engagements, before the enemy can concentrate his AT weapons on your tank. Shoot and scoot. The biggest weakness of this however is Teller-mine spam. I prefer going for a doctrine that offers viable mediums + the conscript repair kit (lend lease + advanced warfare). This comes in handy if you like conscript spam. In: COH2 Gameplay

Damn things can be thrown across the map more or less. Now I just roll Rifle Vet 30% faster so they're all Vet 3 by the time I choose Calliope Company and have floated 300 munitions. Then the M1919s get passed out and Axis infantry just melts away. That´s the strange thing about bulletins. Some can actually change things, like triple Ammo reduction for mines or Schrecks, triple vet multipliers or vision range increase for snipers (aka self spotting). Triple +5% armor on the P4 almost increases the armor value to the level of a Tiger. Others are absolutely useless (222 upgrade ammo reduction, Jagdtiger call in speed). I wish there were some adjustments so all bulletins are actually viable to the extend the good ones already are. In: Lobby
