Thread: Buff Wehrmacht2 Jul 2016, 13:40 PM Why would Wehrmacht need a Hotchkiss if the Panzer III fits the timephrame of it (1943) way better and is more iconic of the German tank arm of the time than the Hotckiss? The latter was only useful for anti partisan duties behind the frontlines or as a munition carrier while the Panzer III was the workhorse of the Germans way into 1943. Even by 1944 some where around in the form of the Ausf. M and N. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Buff Wehrmacht30 Jun 2016, 11:15 AM Ostheer remains the hardest and most unforgiving faction in the game. Their units are high risk low rewad throughout the bank. The units that formerly offered good lategame have been nerfed hard - too hard. Versus the weak Soviets that might have worked out. Versus USA and Brits they are thus horribly outclassed. The most pressing issues that need to be fixed: - PG StG44 needs a slight buff on range so it doesn´t turn into a downgrade from Grens. Volks StG44s don´t lose damage over range compared to the Kar98k. Why not the 340mp PGs? - The Panzer IV either needs a cost reduction to 120 fuel or more pen. - The Panther needs something and if it´s just a buff to OKW stats. Currently it is a no-go. - The Tiger needs frontal armor. In: COH2 Balance

Now one commander costs 15k supply, means you need 90 win for 1 commander. No mention for skins and bulletins. Wtf relic? Go ingame -> item shop -> apply the filter you want on the upper part of the screen. Under the bracket "items" you should find the skins you do not own. Same for the bulletins in the bracket "bulletins". A single skin costs 3750 supply. A skinpack with all 6 of them costs 22.500 supply. Thread: Buff Wehrmacht29 Jun 2016, 10:00 AM Ostheer and Soviets desperately need some buffs. I would be glad if Panzergrenadiers received a small buff to their StG44s. They are supposed to be somewhat elite yet lose to cheaper US Rifles and UK Tommies with Brens and Bars. The nerfs that hit Ostheer where at a time when there were only the trash Soviets around. Thus Ostheer is also left behind. I don´t get why Volksgrenadiers get better StG44s at range. Give the same ones to PGs then. You spend 340 mp on a unit that is actually WORSE than grenadiers on range - the most common type of engagement. So you pay more for a downgrade. Panther also needs something. Tier 4 isn´t anything that brings you back into the game any longer and thus Ostheer as a whole is unattractive. In: COH2 Balance

You misunderstood me. I´m not saying they don´t have good doctrines. I´m saying they have a lot of doctrines that aren´t viable. Defensive doc, Jäger infantry, Fortified armor, Joint ops, German infantry doc, Storm doc are all not that great for Ostheer. For Soviets the NKVD Rifle disruption, Anti inf tactics, Conscripts support tactic, Defensive tactics, Counterattack tactics, Soviet industry tactics are lackluster imo. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Faction satisfaction poll28 Jun 2016, 09:40 AM The Eastern front factions have been left behind it feels. Playing Ostheer is very unsatisfying. One mistake is still way more likely to cost you the game than with any other faction. Moderate early an mid game into a weak lategame is also not satisfying. It used to be satisfying being rewarded to stay in the game. Similar for Soviets. The Vet bonuses for them are very weak and not rewarding. And both factions have a huge pool of commanders that are not viable. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: panthers reload speed27 Jun 2016, 20:32 PM The Ostheer Panther should get the OKW Panthers stats. There is not much to argue about. Ostheer Tier 4 was meant to be an additional and powerful Tier. Yet it has worse stuff than both OKW and Brits. There was a pie chart that showed all the factions intended strenghts. Ostheer was shown as strong lategame. Yet I have yet to see them perform on the level of Brits or OKW at that stage of the game. In: COH2 Balance

The ally fan boy counter arguement is "but armour" or "but vet 2" and these have to be deconstructed to show that the armour isn't much of an advantage when the Panther has bad accuarcy, AT DPS, AI DPS and is overpriced. + It can´t be used as a meatshiled despite the armor because of the HP pool. Using it as such will end in an immediately destroyed Panther versus any real AT. I would be fine with that if it at least dished out some damage. But it doesn´t. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: The Best All Around Tank in COH227 Jun 2016, 14:34 PM Best tank: OKW Panzer IV. This tank melts through infantry the fastest out of all vehicles when it has vet. And it vets up very fast. Getting it to Vet5 is possible in most games. Panzer IV armadas are currently my OKW meta as they can easily handle any infantry and still stand up to medium armor. Lol at whoever said Panther. Are we playing the same game? That tank should be ranked lowest for cost efficiency. In: COH2 Gameplay
