Ah thanks for digging out the stats. I thought the Volks StGs were equal in close quarters yet worse because there are only two.

The point I was trying to make: PGs suffer a bit from being a downgrade from Grens on range and that for 100 mp more. I´d like to see them do as much dps on range. It would be blanced as Grens were the cheaper option still and could upgrade to the MG to be superior in that role. I think PGs are a bit of a disappointment for their price considering Brens and Bars are on par with them or even way superior on range while being cheaper in the most relevant aspect (manpower).

Currently PGs are pretty much weapon crew baby-sitters or emergency AT units. Nothing really satisfying.

I feel that they lack utility in the lategame. Due to a lack of weapon upgrades they tend to not fill arole facing Obersoldaten, Vet 5 Volks and MG Gren blobs.

I feel they could get some kind of minor additional buff on Vet 3 to not throw over the early-game.

All because Germans aren´t allowed to have nice things.

Tigers and King Tigers get their rear armor nerfed. There is nothing wrong with that. But at least the Tiger I should get a front armor increase. Right now the Allied player gets rewarded for flanking but can sit in front of the Tigers anyway and win. The German player should be rewarded for keeping the frontal armor at the enemy.

PGs are not really useful. Why do they get the damage drop off at range yet Volks and their StG44 are good on range? There is no reason to do that as the PGs are way more expensive and get eaten by Bar and Bren blobs.

(Ostheer) Panthers don´t fill any actual role.

And there is still no non doctrinal counter for Ostheer versus emplacements.

Allies were potent and stronger pre patch. Now that OKW teching has been neutered and Ostheer only received pseudo buffs we have two crippled Axis factions. But not enough: Allied heavy AT has been buffed while heavies - on which the Germans rely quite often - have been nerfed even further (No stun on Tigers gun, less rear armor, Lelefant anybody?).

And now we are here. It´s the classic nerf + buff synergy Relic alwas did and now Germans stand no chance.

I feel like you are living in a bizarro Coh2 where the Panzer 4 is good and the "Panther and JP IV are widely considered garbage."

Last Time I checked Panther is the go to choice for your 1st tank and JP4's is good and its vet is godly.

Nope, I always go for the Panzer IV first. Watch replays with OKW (Propagandacast etc.) and most players also go for the Panzer IV because of the good utility and awesome performance with veterancy, especially versus infantry. I don´t know what level you play at but I´m ranked somewhere in the top 30 and the Panzer IV saved me multiple times while the Panther is a burden.

Except removing options like the panther or jp4. The KT isn't the best choice in all situations. Plus it removes the defense that the truck provides.

Panther and JP IV are widely considered garbage. The only disadvantage could be the lack of Obers or a small timegape where the Panzer IV does not appear.
