Not because of the Tiger being the "better" vehicle but simply because - as was mentioned - there are two IS-2 doctrines while there are four or five (if you count the Ace) that offer a Tiger. Also the IS-2 doctrines mean you have to skip Guards which are meta. The Tiger especially suffers from the Comet meta. If you face Panthers with your IS-2, you can simply support it with anti tank guns while the Comet will annihilate vehicles, crew weapons and infantry alike. In: COH2 Balance

That is wrong. In theory it only takes one possible overperforming unit and if you abuse it your faction as a whole can be overperforming since you rely on that thing. Imagine the good old days three years ago with terminator Panzergrenadiers: Nobody would have gotten the idea to say that Wehrmacht wasn´t overperforming since Grens were okay. But as a matter of fact a lot of the maps can be easily closed by the British player within 10 minutes by simply going for an invincible mortar pit (Ettelbrück station, road to Kharkov). The mortar can be built behind an obstacle close enough to the frontline and bomb the most important part of the map with impunity. And the late and mid game usually is getting killed once the Cromwell/ Comet train is rolling. In: COH2 Gameplay

When I asked my parents what my relatives did in the war I usually got superficial replies ("everybody served") since nobody here wants to talk about it... not even in the family. I only know that my great-grandmother had four sons of which one survifed the war. By coincidence I stumbled on an old photobook and it turns out my great-uncle was in a Panzergrenadier-Division, yet because of the self shaming trip we Germans are on, I got to know way too late. Thread: Should all factions converge to same late-game strength?4 Mar 2017, 22:16 PM Voted that they shouldn´t get the same lategame strenght. Soviets and especially USF have far superior early (Maxims, Riflemen, US mortar) and mid (Stuart, T-70) game. Not giving Brits and Ost the upper hand later would be simply unfair. In my opinion you can close the game as US or Soviet early on and have a huge advantage. Thus at least Brits and Ostheer players should be rewarded for holding out for the lategame. In: COH2 Gameplay

If we want to start a circle jerk about our ranks to prove our points: I´m/was level 1-30 in 2vs2s with all factions some time ago (I quit playing Germans as I reached a -8 loss streak). I will gladly inform you Brits are batshit OP. All that could be seen were unwarranted lines like "get gud" from cocky Brit players. Thread: Why do you like Coh2? 2 Mar 2017, 14:53 PM It´s the best strategy game (series) I know. 1) In other RTS games you always build units, send them at each other and they die. CoH has fast paced combat, micromanagement, an excellent cover and supression system and flanking features. Also you are forced to cap the map and can´t rely on building something in your base to gather ressources. This leads to the most intense RTS experience I know. 2) I´m interested in WW2. 3) Best voicelines. And an enourmous amount of them. 4) It depicts all sides as soldiers. It´s not your standard: "Gurmuns are ivil"-bullshit. Thus the series combines everything I´m interested in. In: Lobby

I feel the game is better with it than without it. If the bonuses on vet 4/5 units are overpowered then adjust the bonuses. Removing it all together is just a lazy solution. This has already been done. At the moment a full vetted OKW unit has about 4 levels of effective vet since the bonuses are smaller. For most units having this many levels of vet is actually not as good as having regular vet levels since it takes way longer to level them up for just a little more bonuses. A Vet 3 maxim will have better vet 3 than an MG34. In: Lobby
