In every highly competitive game the better choice is double Panzer IV or Tiger I. The KT is slow and cant escape high pen, 60 range tds. JPIV not penetrating is also an issue though some clowns will try to tell you that it is not supposed to pen heavies at 135 fuel end of tech. LeIG not being able to reliably counter 6men weapon crew is an issue aswell. In: COH2 Balance

Their reinforcement cost went down to be around the cost of Grens. Thats one of the reasons the are usable now. Agree with the rest of the post. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Stupa (Brummbar poll) 19 Feb 2020, 18:54 PM Revert the changes to pre nerf (aka range + armor). There was an incredibly power creep during the last patches. And this lategame power creep mainly affected Allied factions (Conscript buffs, KV buffs, Rifle buff, heavy tank buffs) which will continue (impeeding Brit buffs). Ost needs straight up buffs instead of "adjustments". As others have stated buffs for other factions are rarely a problem. Meanwhile there is an incredible hesitation to buff Ost stuff with fake arguments like 3v3 and 4v4 scrub modes. In: COH2 Balance

Combine that with a slow tank like the KT and the unit is ridiculously less resistant compared to other tanks like the IS-2. At this point I think a buff to the old frontal armour wouldn't be bad. If it is slow and faces high pen units, it should at least be resistant to frontal attacks. Thread: 5 men for OST8 Feb 2020, 17:33 PM Ostheer is by design the faction with fragile infantry. I have no problem with that. The problem is that their intended strenght - good tanks - isn't really in the game outside of a 2 minute Panzer IV power spike. So there is no real compensation. In: Lobby

The game should be balanced around the amaller modes and adjustments be made from there. Not the other way around. In small game modes Ostheer is utter garbadge. Non performing lategame, no 60 range td, small squads no light tanks and all that while, Allies got straight up buffs nobody even asked for (US Rifles, Kv2 vet). What could people want for ost anyway??? any buff even a small one would make em super OP. There are many people who suggested T4 buffs, such as Brummbär getting more armor or more range (it was hit by a double nerf), Panther getting more accuracy on the move and some adjustments for the Werfer (though that was suggested by a minority). Considering that Allies got lategame buffs through the bank and considering Ost is the lategame faction by design (small squads, no light tank) this wouldn't make them OP but is the very minimum I expect for Ostheer.
