Some abilities, different cost and some better accuracy iirc. For the realism discussion: "Best" (which is the most subjective term) German tank would be the StuG imo. Most produced, best availability, most kills, low profile, low cost, reasonable reliability. In: COH2 Balance

I guess that can be blamed on your lack of experience with OKW. If it fires on the move it is going to miss at all but the shortest range. In: COH2 Balance

If your opponent has the King Tiger, what were you doing the whole game? With the tech involved and the price and the fuel income of OKW, it´s way harder. Even when denying the Soviet player the fuel point, he can afford an IS-2 thanks to only having to spend his fuel on T2. If anything else fails, get a cache - OKW can´t do that. And for all those trouble OKW get a clumsy, slower IS-2 with a better gun. Easier than you think with mines (ammo flow) or not throwing the at nades from the font. Even then the gamble is on the Soviet players side, because if the AT nade penetrates, the game is over. This game isn´t about mirroring stats, the KT should have better armor for multiple reasons. At least give the KT better vet. It needs better mobility and a bit more survivability with vet2. It´s vet bonuses are borderline pathetic. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: A letter to Relic COH2 Game balance team23 Apr 2015, 16:45 PM Re: OKW being hard to play this patch. I think this is true in the anti tank department. Yes, the Raketenwerfer was buffed. Yet the design has been "meh" to begin with. I don´t value it as effective as the other AT guns. 50 range is lackluster for an anti tank gun/ launcher. The Schreck nerf hit a bit harder. OKW relied on that. Other options are expensive and cost fuel. Especially versus the Soviet call in meta losing one unit (Jagdpanzer IV, Panther) will cripple your anti tank performance as OKW so significant you will lose the game. Once an IS-2 shows up the Raketenwerfer is a liability. That´s a huge gamble imo. As Ostheer etc. you can at least get out Paks or cheaper tank hunters (StuG, Su-85) or medium tanks. As OKW you are stuck with short range AT and here and there one vehicle. In: COH2 Balance

Go from: 1) Expandable, cheap infantry hordes, 2) with a general ammunition flow and cheap mines, 3) to the best and most devastating artillery mid game, Kat + 120mm, 4) to superior armor late game. Yes, IS-2 and T-34/85 + mark vehicle are better than Tiger and Panther, ISU-152 is better than Elefant in its utility. Two Soviets in the game on equal skill? = gg In: COH2 Gameplay

It's different to what you want, not bad. Having to be borderline suicidal with an expensive unit makes it a bad unit. This isn´t just my preference. It seems to be arbitrary to claim the SU-76 is underpowered, yet the Panzerwerfer is meant to be used "in that specific way". Both units are crap. Yet only one is available in the poll. In: Lobby

That is a discussion box, not the poll. It´s similar to the terms and conditions of contracts. Nobody is going to read everything of it. The poll however is graphic, easy to comprehend and leaves an impression. Eventually that means: The biased poll influences the reader way more than discussions in the box - probably going over several sides. Panzerwerfer is pathetic. Even when not considering the tech cost, it misses reliably. Some people like to argue that it´s meant to drive close.
