Thread: Time investment for playing competitively? 28 Aug 2014, 09:02 AM Having a big amount of CoH1 is huge too, apart from having some different units they game play very similar micro wise at least so having 500-600+ hours there helps a lot too I've only got about 180 hours in CoH2 (only had it since June) but played at least 600-700 games if not more in CoH1. And probably like 1/4 to 1/3 of that is 1v1 yet my best rank is ~1000 for OKW. In: Lobby

IS-2 is effective only against vehicles currently(inb4 spasms of denial-play with it and see how awesome AI it currently have without DSHK upgrade). I will allow Cruzzi to replay for other stuff as I personally am tired of reasoning with brick walls who always know better even if reality slaps something entirely different right into their faces. Thread: Time investment for playing competitively? 23 Aug 2014, 17:09 PM Two matches a week? Sorry but no, maybe 2-3 a day minimum to get to just a decent level. With two matches a week you'll barely even be able to improve in comp stomps let alone 1v1 play. In: Lobby

Thread: IS-2 Frontal Armor 22 Aug 2014, 15:41 PM IS2 front armor is ridiculous, even panzerschreks are bouncing 90% of the time. Pretty much everything except JT, KT, Ele and Pak43 bounce on IS2 front armor most of the time. The fact that it's quite mobile and can squad wipe adds to the problem, unlike extremely slow JT, KT etc. In: COH2 Balance

I agree that only the pak has something to do in that engagement, but the PzIV on the left did some good side shots and they all got registered as frontal hits. I think that the current system makes flanking too hard. Btw, I don't understand why IS2 can't be better than Tiger.
