This US mortar was perhaps one of the worst implemented ideas I have ever seen. OP nails it: you can't move, you can't stand still, you have to pray for lucky tellers or some attention deficit. OST needs some serious love, or maybe US should LOSE some love that it received from all past patches (lose some power creep) |
- Nerf a bit (maybe 5% from vet 2 and 3, i.e., 23%->18%) of Rec Acc from veterancy on rifle squads
- Increase health pool of KV1
- Increase just a little bit the effectiveness of ostwind, or, at least, decrease a little the price (to 90 fuel)
- Give raketen squad green cover
- PG's could receive a different vet1 ability. Tactical advance would be great.
- USF mortar, oh god, fix that
- Change brit cancer commander - remove the fortified emplacement and give something else.
- Increase a little bit the teching price of brits. It's so fast. |
Give axis a demo charge option - even if you charge it like tech - for example, 100 MP and 30 fuel |
I'd love to see the american mortar getting a real nerf - maybe keep its rate of fire just for the smoke barrage; I accept a fast cooldown. Infantry sections could see a small MP increase, and grens a MP decrease (like, IS going to 30 reinforce and grens 28). Then, some commanders rework, specially ostheer and soviets.
Americans, right now, feel like a-move to win. Also, I'd like to play against someone who doesn't take assault cavalry everytime. |

I'm a saddistical player, I keep trying to make a good OKW game - can't. US is way overpowered, the mortar is a extreme surprise buttfuck and the game just goes worse and worse with time. I'm sad because I loved this game so much and now I kinda dislike it. |

Both are great. I'd tip over Partisans, because the playstyle is very nice using this commander. Rifle company is the old "heavy cavalry" commander. It's very nice, but doesn't change much about how you play US |
