Thread: Many Hands Make Light Works15 Jul 2014, 09:59 AM It took over 150 messages of complaints for Relic to finally tell people that the system is working as they intended, and that they know not everyone is happy with it. I dread to think how many more messages it would take for them to actually implement some of the tweaks/fixes they say they're considering adding to it. It seems the only thing that is likely to work is discontent and pressure on the forums - which is easily ignored as only one main thread seems to be allowed on the subject. In: Lobby

(that isn't strictly true, as the base game had unlockable commanders, skins and bulletins - which were all unlocked via playing the game) Currently it seems Relic DON'T want money, and instead want to drip feed content. As for why, who knows. Ironically this position shift has made people want to give them money, and actively request paid DLC. In: Lobby

I just hope that happens in a matter of days, and not weeks. Duplicates could be fixed instantly with a quick fix, that's most of the problem solved straight away, whilst they work on the rest. If the community could all agree to that and collectively ask for it, instead of just offering to literally throw their money at the problem, then I think that would be a huge step in the right direction. They do need to clarify exactly why duplications of commanders/skins/strikes/faceplates are happening, not least because they are causing a large amount of frustration universally within the community. If they really worried about costs they could just place all the commanders/skins/strikes/faceplates on the steam store for free and let people download the ones they want. They did that with the commanders from the 'Make War' competition, so we know it's possible. In: Lobby
Thread: Where the hell is the war spoils patch14 Jul 2014, 12:47 PM They should have released WFA with ALL the commanders unlocked, which would have kept people busy and happy (bar the terrible performance drop and freezes) whilst they work on whatever it is they have 'planned' for war spoils. After the various problems and frustrations with the war spoils system, they should give them out as a way of apologising for the problems/frustrations. In: COH2 Gameplay
