Yes this bug or feature or whatever is terrible. It looks terrible when there is a hole in the wall and you just see dudes popping in and out of existence. I guess they tried to balance effectivness of building useage between small and large squads, because, for example, grens are doing fine in building with 3 windows, while cons don't get much of advantage despite green cover. Once I got owned hard in 4v4 by 2 KV-2 set up behind buildings, backed up by Jacksons and SU-85. We just couldn't break through. That damn thing could withstand PFaust + direct Railroad Artillery hit. So... Can't give exact advice on "when", probably in team games only, the more players - the better. "How" - try to place it behind some building near part of map where all "the mess" is happening. |

Guys, you're analyzing this data with wrong approach. You're splitting players as if they play only one faction. I think that most top player play both factions. Not equally, but still they contribute to both statistics. I want to say that here we see almost the same sample of players gets different results with different faction. In: COH2 Balance |

Flame crit instagibs were bad. Total RNG. They had to go. Something needs to be done to compensate now. I think of plain molotov Damage over Time DPS increase (would be good only against MGs) OR Fixed small damage (like 20 or 30) and low-to-moderate DoT damage (good against infantry that wasn't microed and caught in explosion too). It would have good distinction from normal grenades: - Grenades deal lethal damage in the middle of explosion and low damage on far end of AoE - Molotov would do same damage in all AoE no matter how close model standing to middle of explosion.
