Thread: COH2 Volks & Grens, are so trashy in first 6 mins16 Oct 2014, 20:58 PM i honestly dont know what build order and strategy you guys are using, but even on open maps, cons are really good as long as you keep them spread out. when advancing on an mg, make sure youre cons arent clumped enough to get AoE suppressed. this means you HAVE to micro your squads instead of square selecting them all and just right clicking. grens cant hold against cons, and when you have more squads than they do, theyll have to retreat EVERY TIME. Thread: Learning better micro 15 Oct 2014, 17:55 PM well, a lot of micro is just plain experience. you will know what match ups between units you can win and what you need to move where to win engagements. macro is a little harder in my opinion, as you need to be microing multiple firefights across the map, reinforcing troops back at base, and then calling in new troops as you get enough resources. keep an eye on the top right for ur units cards and make sure everyone is in fighting condition. the unit cards in the top right are incredibly helpful for not losing squads.
