In one way, I prefer CoH1 for the artillery being so effective and useful while on the other hand, I prefer CoH2 because infantry die faster. Though there's only one squad that kill realistically... Maybe a poll would have helped to find out other's opinion. If I lose a squad to some random thing not only do I laugh but I immerse myself in the war like experience that coh2 seeks to offer. many high level players I feel are forgetting that this game can be fun. not always competitive. They are good for mining everything up and back capping, but so are CEs and CEs are much more combat effective. Partisans need to be able to stand up on their own, relic should either remove their DPS penalty that doesn't make any sense or make them 6 men squads, so they can take a hit. Right now, they melt in seconds and hit like wet noodles, the only appealing part of partisan doctrine-female partisans, was removed from the game as well, so not much reason to go for them, which is sad, because I love both them and irregulars(and osttruppen, but these guys can actually stand up for their own right now). Women are the most appealing part of the doctrine, huh. How about 5 men for partisan? 6 men and they just take the conscripts role IMO. In: COH2 Balance

Prioritize vehicles, when it works, has been one of the best additions to units Relic has given us. Not everyone wants to micro their fragile tank destroyers and at guns like crazy when they should have no business shooting infantry altogether. If you must replace something, then make it three-way toggle (i.e. you go from fire at will through prioritize vehicles to hold fire, and then start over). Either that, or make all the appropriate units fire at vehicles only at default and infantry only when told to. I still think hold fire is better since you can prepare ambushes with it. If you've got 2 paks and you have prioritise vehicle you might not be able to finish off a T-70/Stuart/Halftrack if they don't deploy at the exact same time due to them firing immediately. With Hold Fire, you can wait for the 2nd pak to be ready and fire both at the same time. You could also wait for a tank to hit a mine before firing so you don't scare him away which is good.
